That's the entire point about the American process, unlike other countries where someone is appointed or government overthrown to put someone in there to push their own agenda.
I don't care for a panel to analyze and hand feed me information. That's the problem. Too many don't really want to bother to gather the facts themselves. They rely on their biased news media to do it for them.
Name calling has been around since the first president came to be in this country. One tries to discredit the other and be more favorable in the eyes of the people. What's wrong with that?
My word, when Jefferson and Adams were running against one another, Jefferson called Adams' wife a slut and Adams basically called Jefferson a bigot for having children by his slaves. They fought like little girls.
Duking it out is the American way and I'm glad for it.
