Why are the pubs just adding tax cuts for the wealthy when they know that will not stimulate the economy? If they had problems with what the money was being spent on, why didn't they come up with alternative programs, but ones that would do the job instead of tax cuts? Ones that actually put money into the economy. The point is not to cut the spending from this bill. Spending is the whole point. I obviously cannot say that enough.
It looks like sabotage to me. I think the more money you take away from the middle and lower classes to give to the rich (which is how we got here to begin with), the lower the chance of this thing actually working. But I guess that's the point huh?
If this thing passes as it stands, I think I would call it a win for the pub party, but a very costly loss for the people of this country (dems and pubs).
