As a christian, I agree. We too often turn our backs on people we perceive as sinners (like any of us our perfect), when we should be supportive. But, my issue here is this man is so hypocritical. To be bashing homosexuals and gay marriage in the pulpit, but practicing it in his personal life, do as I say, not as I do.
Preachers and leaders like this are why my family left the evangelicals years ago for a more moderate church that is more open and forgiving. I am certainly not perfect enough to go to one of these churches!
