How is having a baby with Downs syndrome and a pregnant teenager a calamity? That is real life, something which none of us are above. You do the best to raise your kids, but THEY MAKE THEIR OWN CHOICES. It breaks a parent's heart sometimes to see them go down that path, but I do not see that is a huge reflection on the parents.

As for a baby with Downs syndrome, how did she bring that on herself?
