HA HA HA - boy did you get that one right

From "read my lips" (GB Sr) to "under our health care system all Americans will have access to quality and affordable health care" (BC) I cannot think of a single president that kept his campaign promises either. I was in the Army serving overseas when Ronald Reagan was campaigning so I don't know if he kept his promises or what his promises were. I do know he was an excellent President and I, along with all the other troops serving overseas, were very proud to be Americans serving our country. I know it took Bill Clinton about 45-60 days before he started breaking his campaign promises (yes I voted for that sb the first time). After that I lost interest, but here we have for the first time in since I don't know how long (maybe since Reagan) we have a man whom a lot of people believed so much in and here it is within the first 30 days breaking most of his campaign promises. Maybe over the next 30 days we will see him break the rest of them. I do feel good I'm in the same company as a lot of other people (a lot of democrats and people who had supported him) who were fooled by his suave/slick tactics, but I have long since put down the kool-aid and can now say "The Sleeper Has Awoken". - Spoken by Paul Atreides in the movie Dune (want to give credit where credit is due).
