Has everyone forgotten?
Everyone needs to remember what was going on during the Clinton years. This article brings back memories of what was really happening. Has everyone forgotten this?

Thank you - I had forgotten a lot
I forgot about all of that. While I do agree on all of it except two things. One - while I agree he had a 73% approval ratings I do not believe the impeachment was unsuccessful. You could actually think of that two ways - It was successful because he was impeached, but it was unsucceful because he was not removed from office (not sure if that's what you meant by unsuccesful). The other thing I don't agree with - and of course I could be wrong - I have been known to be wrong on an occasion or two in the past :-) but I do not believe we had a booming economy. Booming to whom? To the rich, to the politicians, to the lawyers, the CEOs, Clinton's friends who own mansions, to the people who got their money illegally and got to live in mansions while the hard working class slaved away and were meeting poverty level, losing their homes, their jobs, living in their cars and going hungry. I don't know of anyone during that administration that was doing very well (except CEOs and Clinton's close friends and millionaires). The rest of my family and friends struggled every day on an economy that was collapsing while we were being told by the rich democrats that the economy was "booming". Again, like I said - I could be wrong. If I'm wrong I'll admit it.
I do have to thank you for all the other points you brought up. I forgot about all of them.
You must have forgotten that W had only
4 years under his belt as the worst governor in the history of the State of Texas and had never even seen federal level office except when standing in daddy's and mommy's shadows. His biggest accomplishment in Texas was to give it a global reputation as the Gulag state. Sound familiar?
You know, I had forgotten about the old
commodities. And you are right, I think that would make a big difference on the food stamp program. I remember the large containers of peanut butter folks used to get, my DH used to call them *elbow scrapers* they were so deep! They were nutritious staple items. Even if the food stamp items would be limited to certain purchases, maybe.
The idea of this post was that Cyndiee was trying to come up with a solution. Instead of everyone trying to help her by making her suggestion better or finding other solutions, they began attacking her personal lifestyle, which has absolutely nothing to do this issue.
Oh, and BTW, the person who has come up with a plan where they will not not have to worry about buying shampoo or whatever, and still be able to save $600 per month, remember? They could virtually become a multi-millionaire by selling this plan, you know!!
And you have forgotten...(sm)
that Iraq had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with 9-11.
And you have forgotten...(sm)
this thread is about waterboarding. Were the 3 terrorists who were waterboarded from Iraq? Your point is irrelevant to this thread.
So is your constant mention of revenge. None of the EITs that were used were ever intended to be any sort of *revenge.* That would be just trying to get some sort of pay-back for what they had done to us. We were trying get information from them that would thousands of American lives, information that they had already told that they knew.
Veterans Forgotten
McCAIN HAS NOT DELIVERED ON HIS PROMISES TO VETERANS
Union members respect Sen. John McCain’s service to our country. When will he start respecting ours? Although McCain talks about his support for veterans, he repeatedly votes against increased funding for veterans’ health care—and more. We call on John McCain to join us in supporting our veterans and working to turn around America.
McCAIN REPEATEDLY VOTED AGAINST VETERANS’ HEALTH BENEFITS
McCain Opposes the 21st Century GI Bill Because It Is Too Generous. McCain did not vote on the GI Bill that will provide better educational opportunities to veterans of the Afghanistan and Iraq wars, paying full tuition at in-state schools and living expenses for those who have served at least three years since the 9/11 attacks. McCain said he opposes the bill because he thinks the generous benefits would “encourage more people to leave the military.” (S.Amdt. 4803 to H.R. 2642, Vote 137, 5/22/08; Chattanooga Times Free Press, 6/2/08; Boston Globe, 5/23/08; ABCNews.com, 5/26/08)
McCain Voted Against Increased Funding for Veterans’ Health Care. Although McCain told voters at a campaign rally that improving veterans’ health care was his top domestic priority, he voted against increasing funding for veterans’ health care in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. (Greenville News, 12/12/2007; S.Amdt. 2745 to S.C.R. 95, Vote 40, 3/10/04; Senate S.C.R. 18, Vote 55, 3/16/05; S.Amdt. 3007 to S.C.R. 83, Vote 41, 3/14/06; H.R. 1591, Vote 126, 3/29/07)
Opposed an Assured Funding Stream for Veterans’ Health Care. McCain opposed providing an assured funding stream for veterans’ health care, taking into account annual changes in veterans’ population and inflation. (S.Amdt. 3141 to S.C.R. 83, Vote 63, 3/16/06)
McCain Voted Against Adding More Than $400 Million for Veterans’ Care. McCain was one of 13 Republicans to vote against providing an additional $430 million to the Department of Veterans Affairs for outpatient care and treatment for veterans. (S.Amdt. 3642 to H.R. 4939, Vote 98, 4/26/06)
Voted Against Establishing a $1 Billion Trust Fund for Military Health Facilities. McCain voted against establishing a $1 billion trust fund to improve military health facilities by refusing to repeal tax cuts for those making more than $1 million a year. (S.Amdt. 2735 to S.Amdt. 2707 to H.R. 4297, Vote 7, 2/2/06)
McCain Opposed $500 Million for Counseling Services for Veterans with Mental Disorders. McCain voted against an amendment to appropriate $500 million annually from 2006-2010 for counseling, mental health and rehabilitation services for veterans diagnosed with mental illness, posttraumatic stress disorder or substance abuse. (S. 2020, S.Amdt. 2634, Vote 343, 11/17/05)
McCain Voted in Support of Disabled Veterans Only 25 Percent of the Time from 2004-2005. While McCain claims he “has been a leading advocate” for veterans with disabilities, statistics show he supported the Disabled American Veterans’ interests only 25 percent of the time in 2004-2005. In 2006, that figure slipped to 20 percent of the time. (Project Vote Smart)
McCain Voted Against Providing Automatic Cost-of-Living Adjustments to Veterans. McCain voted against providing automatic annual cost-ofliving adjustments for certain veterans’ benefits. (S. 869, Vote 259, 11/20/91)
INCLUDING BETTER ACCESS TO HEALTH CARE FOR GUARD AND RESERVISTS
McCain Opposed Increasing Spending on TRICARE and Giving Greater Access to National Guard and Reservists. Although his campaign website devotes a large section to veterans issues, including expanding benefits for reservists and members of the National Guard, McCain voted against increasing spending on the TRICARE program by $20.3 billion over 10 years to give members of the National Guard and Reserves and their families greater access to the health care program. The increase would be offset by a reduction in tax cuts for the wealthy. (www.johnmccain.com/Informing/ Issues/9cb5d2aa-f237-464e-9cdf-a5ad32771b9f.htm; S.Amdt. 324 to S.C.R. 23, Vote 81, 3/25/03)
McCAIN ALSO VOTED TO OUTSOURCE JOBS AT MILITARY FACILITIES
McCain Supported Outsourcing VA Jobs. McCain opposed an amendment that would have prevented the Department of Veterans Affairs from outsourcing jobs, many held by blue-collar veterans, without first giving the workers a chance to compete. (S.Amdt. 2673 to H.R. 2642, Vote 315, 9/6/07)
He Also Supported Outsourcing at Walter Reed. McCain opposed an amendment to prevent the outsourcing of 350 federal employee jobs at Walter Reed Army Medical Center—outsourcing that contributed to the scandalous treatment of veterans at Walter Reed that McCain called a “disgrace.” (S.Amdt. 4895 to H.R. 5631, Vote 234, 9/6/06; Speech to VFW in Kansas City, Mo., 4/4/08)
AND HE REPEATEDLY VOTED AGAINST FUNDING FOR THE VETERANS AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT
2003: McCain Voted Against $122.7 Billion for Department of Veterans Affairs. McCain voted against an appropriations bill that included $122.7 billion in fiscal 2004 for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Housing and Urban Development and other related agencies. (H.R. 2861, Vote 449, 11/12/03)
2001: McCain Voted Against $51 Billion in Veterans Funding. McCain was one of five senators to vote against the bill and seven to vote against the conference report that provided $51.1 billion for the Department of Veterans Affairs, as well as funding for the federal housing, environmental and emergency management agencies and NASA. (H.R. 2620, Vote 334, 11/8/01; Vote 269, 8/2/01)
2000: McCain Voted Against $47 Billion for the Department of Veterans Affairs. McCain was one of eight senators to vote against a bill that provided $47 billion for the Department of Veterans Affairs. (H.R. 4635, Vote 272, 10/12/00)
1999: McCain Voted Against $44.3 Billion for Veterans Programs. McCain was one of five senators to vote against a bill providing $44.3 billion for the Department of Veterans Affairs, plus funding for other federal agencies. (H.R. 2684, Vote 328, 10/15/99)
1996: McCain Voted Against a $13 Billion Increase in Funding for Veterans Programs. McCain voted against an amendment to increase spending on veterans programs by $13 billion. (S.C.R. 57, Vote 115, 5/16/96)
1995: McCain Voted to Underfund Department of Veterans Affairs. McCain voted for an appropriations bill that underfunded the Departments of Veterans Affairs and Housing and Urban Development by $8.9 billion. (H.R. 2099, Vote 470, 9/27/95)
1995: McCain Voted Against Closing Tax Loopholes to Increase Veterans Funding by $74 Million. McCain voted against eliminating tax breaks and closing tax loopholes to provide revenue to restore some of the proposed cuts in Veterans Affairs spending. (S.C.R. 13, Vote 226, 5/25/95)
1994: McCain Voted Against Funding the Department of Veterans Affairs. McCain was one of nine senators to vote against appropriating $90 billion in budget authority for the Veterans Affairs and Housing and Urban Development departments. (H.R. 4624, Vote 306, 9/27/94)
Geez, I had forgotten about that.....
sigh. Yet another reason Palin is better suited.
Has everyone forgotten what went on in Iraq
Ethnic cleansing and the mass murders. While not on the same scale as Hitler, Hussein was a mass murderer. What we are doing over there is good.
Haven't forgotten that, but...(sm)
I also haven't forgotten what Clinton did to try to go after terrorists and how Bush managed to put all that work on a shelf.
http://www.truthout.org/article/clinton-911-and-facts
Just think, while Clinton was trying to work on all this, all you guys could do was worry about where his peter was.
Have we already forgotten about Reverend Wrong
and his 20-year relationship with Obama, hatred of whites, and conspiracy that HIV by the government was invented to kill blacks?? Behind closed doors....these rallies have been going on for years now. Open up your ears.
Yeah, and after 911, which I HAVENT forgotten,
nm
In case you've forgotten....
Congress/senate/house votes on bills and issues NOT the president. He is only a talking head. I am elated that we are going to finally have a wonderful speaker, but you have to remember...the president is not the person who makes the decisions and votes on issues. Congress does. So while I am glad Obama will be the talking head, he will not be the one making the decisions, just like Bush did not make the decisions. The presidents are nothing more than talking heads and whipping boys (or girls if a women was picked) to take the blame for things they don't do.
Oh, yeah. I had forgotten the other part
of the question, whether he deliberately wishes to harm America and Americans. Thanks for addressing this, and probably more nicely than I would have, because I am not entirely sure he does not intend to administer some serious ''payback'' to many of us for perceived past wrongs.
Does he wish to destroy the country? I don't think he necessarily sees it that way. But I do think he wants to remake it into something many of us will no longer recognize.
Forgotten Sacrifice...Good article...sm
Forgotten Sacrifice
By F. John Duresky
Wednesday, July 5, 2006; Page A13
A few days ago, as I do every day in Iraq, I listened to the commander's battle update. The briefer calmly and professionally described the day's events. Somewhere in Iraq, on some forgotten, dusty road, an insurgent fighting an occupying army detonated an improvised explosive device (IED) under a Humvee, killing an American soldier. The briefer fielded a question from the general and moved to the next item in the update.
The day before that, in America, a 15-year-old's incredibly rich parents planned the biggest sweet 16 party ever. They will spend more than $200,000 on an opulent event marking a single year in an otherwise unremarkable life. The soon-to-be-16 girl doesn't know where Iraq is and doesn't care. That same day an American soldier died in Iraq.
Two days earlier, a 35-year-old man went shopping for home entertainment equipment. He had the toughest time selecting the correct plasma screen; he could afford the biggest and best of everything. In the end, he had it installed by a specialty store. He spent about $50,000 on the whole system. He has never met anybody serving in the military nor served himself, but thinks we should turn the whole place into a parking lot. That day, another American soldier died in Iraq.
Three days earlier, some college students had a great kegger. There were tons of babes at the party, the music was awesome. Everybody got totally blitzed, and many missed class the next day. The young men all registered for the draft when they were 18, but even though our nation is at war, they aren't the least bit worried about the draft. It is politically impossible to conscript young people today, we are told. That day, another American volunteer died in Iraq.
Four days earlier, a harried housewife looked all over town for the perfect accessory for her daughter's upcoming recital. Her numerous chores wore her out, but she still found herself preoccupied. Her oldest son is having trouble in his first year of college, and he has been talking of enlisting in the Army. She is terrified that her child will go off to that horrible war she sees on TV. She and her husband decide to give their son more money so he doesn't have to work part-time; maybe that will help with his studies. That day, another soldier died.
Yesterday millions of Americans celebrated Independence Day. They attended parties and barbecues. Families came together from all across the country to celebrate the big day. Millions of dollars were spent on fireworks. At public events, there were speeches honoring the people who served and those who made the ultimate sacrifice. These words mostly fell on bored ears. While the country celebrated its own greatness, other Americans were still fighting in Iraq.
Today Americans go back to their normal business. The politicians in Washington have made sure the sacrifices of the war are borne by the very smallest percentage of Americans. They won't even change the tax rates to prevent deficits from running out of control. Future generations will pay the cost of this war.
Many Americans feel strongly about the war one way or another, but they aren't signing up their children for service or taking the protest to the streets. What can they do? It is they whom we in the military trust to influence our leaders in Washington.
Today, as on every other day in Iraq, American servicemen are in very real danger. Our country is at war. Mothers, fathers, wives, husbands and children are worrying about their loved ones in a faraway land. They all hope he or she isn't the one whose luck runs out today.

Yah ha! rim shot!
xx
Yep...there's the shot across the bow.
We'll see how Prez Obama responds to that one.
That's why should take our best shot rather than
x
They're trying to help but they being SHOT AT
for crying out loud...who shoots at their rescuers!! The people in New Orleans is what is making it so difficult, and the fact the roads are not passable in and out. Come on people. THINK!! They build a city in bowl below sea level. They were told for decades this was going to happen. This is a much more complex situation than just one person can be responsible for.
Let me take one shot at clarifying...
what I am talking about regarding illegal immigration, and what I view this country to be. I do not now, nor have I ever said one word about wanting a "pure race." I have said over and over, America is a country of immigrants. A country of immigrants coming here who wanted change from their native countries. Immigrants who became UNITED under one flag, one creed, one constitution, one set of laws. The UNITED States of America. The thread that bound us all together...Americans. And the trend is away from that now. Illegal immigrants want to come here and change America to Mexican America...or Muslim America...or, or, or. To change what we are, the ideals we were founded on. In my mind, if you make a conscious decision to leave your own country and come to this one seeking to change your citizenship, then you embrace this country, her laws, her ideals, etc. That does not mean a person cannot be proud of individual heritage. I am proud of my Irish, Native American, Swedish ancestry and can some of it back to the 15th century. But I am not a Native Swedish Irish American. I am an American with a mixed heritage, and I am an American first, and I don't frankly see anything wrong with that. It is in that that we used to be UNITED and is what made us strong. If we start to separate we might as well set up borders and call part of us Native America, part of us Africa America, part of us Mexico America....because we are not united anymore. I even had the word "secession" thrown at me, which is ridiculous on the face of it. I never said such a thing nor would I sanction such a thing, because I believe in the UNITED States of America.
At any rate, to set the record straight: I do not ascribe to a "pure" race. I object vehemently to illegal immigration. I support legal immigration to the hilt. However, I do believe that immigrants are making a choice when they leave their native land and come here...a choice to become an American, and if that is not their choice, then they need to stay in their country of origin and try to make it more America-like...it seems like that is what they REALLY want.
I love my country, I love her mixed heritage and I love my own mixed heritage. I really, really don't see what the problem is with that. Black, white, red, yellow, polka-dotted or chartreuse....we are all Americans, and that should be the thread that binds us together. Therein lies our strength.
I will now officially stop beating this poor dead horse. :) Have a good day, my fellow Americans, every last one of you. :)
And the first shot is fired.......
by those, in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ, spew things like "you are a nasty old hag arne't you?" How Christian.
These are perfect!! Thanks for the shot . .
of reality . . . well, reality to most of us, anyway.
Whackos like her are the ones that shot down
There is still a shot he might not leave. sm
The economy is very bad and there could be a catastrophic emergency (Directive 51), and we are stuck with him.
DON'T SHOT THE MESSENGER
It could be a joke, but I do trust Huffingtonpost. It is also posted on other parts of the net. For him to do so (pardon Bin Laden), probably means nothing to anyone except "Bush" since Bin Laden has not been captured and is not a U.S. citizen. You can search it yourself and form your own opinion: "Bush Pardon's Osama Bin Laden" or you can copy and paste the link below.
I don't put anything past Bush and nothing he does surprises me. I'm embarassed that I voted for him. After stating that he gets a "briefing" every day, on Larry King when asked, if we ever came close to capturing Bin Laden, his reply was "I don't know......I really don't know." First of all, you should know, and if you don't know, you don't say I don't know. You can discuss the gallant attempts by our military to capture him, the sacrifice they gave of themselves to capture him, etc. LAME DUCK -- BYE!!

The guy that shot him was a coward.
If he was doing God's work, he should have come forth and said so.
Let's give that a shot - here goes...
I would be an Irish-German-Welsh-Scottish-Native-American-American, at least as far back as I have traced my ancestry.
Think there's a box for that one?
You have a better shot at getting the truth paying sm
attention to alternative media. You will not get it in the box by mainstream, heavily censored, corporate owned media.
Sigh. Another anonymous shot across the bow. (nm)
nm
You got your wish. An MP was shot in the leg by looters. Women are being raped.
Police are turning in their badges because they say their homes are gone and it isn't worth it to them to get shot stopping looters. There is anarchy in New Orleans. Your with come true.
Under the Bush regime, I don't think it's that much of a long shot.
I think and fear it is possible. Wouldn't surprise me if the next civil war breaks out in the United States in the form of another Christian crusade. It could happen. We don't really live in a republic any more. :-(
Give it your best shot. Spotlight on the pubs

The sicko who shot the army soldier
and murdered him justifies himself by saying it was not a murder; it was a justified killing....... Our liberal media has been so hush hush about the murder of this solider, maybe they think they same thing!! They sure have talked about the baby murderer's murder til I'm sick to death of hearing it!!!
Too bad Obama thought discussing the tiller murder was more important than mentioning a soldier's murder in THIS country due to a sicko islamic convert within our own country.... speaks volumes to me...

King funeral--just another money shot for politicians
and opportunity for all politicians involved to bloviate ad nauseum. The whole thing went on forever. Reminds me of the old Appalachian mountain funerals where there were five or six preachers and each one had to see who could out preach the other.
Everybody had to get their money shot (especially Clinton and Carter) and to me it was sad to see a bunch of politicans and so-called religious leaders take advantage a good woman's funeral just to make their political hay.
Goes to show that you can't even die anymore without it being shrouded in politics.
Love the bust/head shot where he's worshiping the pie.
x
It is all about timing and the fact that there was a pet chimp shot by the police the other day.
Give it a rest.
Just think about that for a minute...
Think what that would mean to Americans. Death penality if you do not follow one religion. Hands cut off for stealing. Stoned to death for adultery. Stoned to death or worse for homosexuality. No TV other than state TV. No western music. No abortions. No living together outside marriage. Girls killed by their own families for premarital sex. No divorce. Women in total subjection in a society totally dominated by males. Some of the practices and lifestyles this country has come to accept in the name freedom, whether good or bad, gone in a heartbeat. The scary thing is that a good part of this country will go on thinking that can't happen here...and unfortunately that may be the death knell of America as we know it. I shudder to think. All Christians no matter what denomination need to hit their knees and pray hard that that does not happen to our country, and we need to support our country's efforts in Iraq and support the men and women who are there trying to keep just this thing from happening. We are losing the will to fight, and in so doing are rolling onto our backs to expose our belly to the wolves. Sorry to be so graphic, but that is about what it amounts to. Some things ARE worth fighting for. God bless us all!
don't believe it for a minute
This man has changed his mind (that's a nice way of saying he lies) as much as Biden did in the debate last PM. Keep in mind that literally anything that is "gov't-sponsored" is actually YOU sponsored. You take home less money (less than you do now, that's for sure), you hand over even more control to "the gov't," etc.
If nothing else, look how everything "the gov't" does gets more screwed up every time "they" touch it. The bailout they just signed had thousands of pages added to it. That's the name of that tune. Hope this helps.
Incidentally, I don't give anyone a free pass. That's something I've never understood.
Let us for a minute consider this
in a different way.
Let us say that your son or daughter are in school. They are very good students. They do their homework, study, and get good grades. In fact, they get an A. However, another little girl or boy didn't do so well in class. Instead...they got a D. Now an A is above average and a D is below average as I'm sure all of you aware of. So the A student can afford to lose part of their grade right because they are above average. So let us say that we take a bit of the A grade to up the unfortunate child who received a D so that way they get a C. That would make the unfortunate child have an average grade. Now the child earning the A but having it taken away is very upset. They worked so hard for that A but because others felt she could afford to give up part of her A so another child could bring a below average grade up to an average grade would make the whole school a happy place because everyone would be average. No one would be below average. But the A student gets very down and stops trying because what is the point. The A they earned will be taken away any way. The D student continues to get below average grades because....hey...no big deal...teacher will just take it from an A student and I'll be average. No harm done except now the A student is getting lower grades because their hard work has been penalized and they have stopped trying.
If this were happening in our school systems each and every one of us would have an absolute fit but that is exactly what Barrack Obama is wanting to do to us. Instead he is doing it with our hard-earned money.
Think about this for a minute s/m
Think anchor babies............they are natural born babies aren't they? You want to see a child of ILLEGAL ALIEN parents become president? That would be a fine example of our Constitution since it would give them every right to run for the presidency. Well, wake up, that is very likely to happen!
Let's look at this a minute
First, $60,000 per year is not exactly in the wealthy category but even in this day it is or should be enough to pay for the necessities with some money left over.
Do I pay for everything with cash? You betcha! We have done so for years while we scrimped and saved to pay off the mortgage, get the cars paid off, etc. Then that money instead of going into finer living went into savings. We still live frugally because we fully expect that we will have to help our kids who are not yet old enough to have followed our advice...I might add that of 4 only 1 (Joe the real life plumber) has the desire to follow in our footsteps. People these days want bigger houses, newer cars, more "stuff" to keep up with the Jones and have kept buying what they can't afford...when their credit runs out then what? Bankruptcy? Bush pretty well took that option off the table. I fully expect debtor's prison to be the next thing on the agenda.
Use your head. If the middle class does well everyone does well. Where's the middle class now? But the greed is still there and that includes greedy people as well as greedy big business.
As for the rebates.....I was NOT in favor of the rebates and said they would do no good........they didn't. Mine went into the mattress and I'd gladly give it back if it would help this economy. I imagine the majority of people threw money at the credit card bill collectors hoping to stave them off another day or so. So who benefited from that?
At Wounded Knee, two federal agents were shot to death. sm
One was killed while going for his gun after being shot at. The gun was so high powered, it severed his hand. He was married and a father. I don't think Wounded Knee is anything to be proud of.
Poster who implies anyone wanted officers shot was certainly slamming.
And if they did not mean to do it - which I doubt - they need to rethink their delivery if they don't want to be continually misunderstood (though I also doubt they were).
Well, it's official my day is shot. Obama was inaugerated AND I'm getting crappy dictation!
I just can't win today!
This is getting better every minute, MT. You claim to know who's AGAINST you when you can't
even figure out who's WITH you, as evidenced by the little hissy fit above between you and another CON!!!
Please keep posting. You're getting whackier with each post and revealing yourself for the nut case you truly are!!!
Plus, I'm intrigued by all the different voices in your head who surface at different times. I guess tonight TM is doing the talking, and TM seems to be even more rude and angry and hateful than you usually are.
Why so angry, MT? Roberts was confirmed today. Why aren't you happy? Or do you just have a terminal case of chronic bitterness, no matter what? Have you ever been nice to ANYONE?
PLEASE keep posting. You're quite entertaining, even if in a pathetic sort of way.
wait a minute there
if you are wealthy and repub, drug addiction is an ILLNESS. If you are middle class or poor and perhaps a person of color, it is CRIME. Get your facts straight.

I don't believe this story for one minute!
The "B" carved in this young lady's cheek is more like scratch, and it is backwards. Have you ever looked at writing in a mirror? It's backwards! This young lady may have been mugged, but she scratched the "B" in her cheek all by herself. She is also a college Republican field representative, which makes this story even more fishy and explains her motive for doing this. Talk about stooping low...this is as low as it gets!
