Yes, I did know MLK was a republican.  However, I also realize the evolution of the parties, a fact that republicans like to ignore.  Do you, perhaps happen to know what a Dixiecrat is?  I didn't think so.

I do not dwell on race, as you would suggest.  As far as I'm concerned the Obama presidency has nothing to do with race other than the historic nature of him being the first black man in the White House.  Look at this thread.  You tell me who brought up race, and exactly what does that have to do with discussing the issues?
