So the slap is the implication that Obama is "owned" on some level, an oreo, or a black man who has been "allowed" the privilege of being president by someone he himself would have to think of as his "master." Which is only effective as a slur if Obama thinks of himself as a slave, which I seriously doubt he does.
There are plenty of people who have long thought that the president, no matter what color, is nothing but a pawn anyway, a figurehead not unlike the queen of England, a puppet for the corporations or whomever else has the biggest pocketbook.
