and I would agree, they are all being stubborn, and are all putzes. This was just political posturing, although I have a hard time faulting anyone for trying to stop expanding programs instead of fixing or dispensing of broken ones. Although, if they figure out a way to fix it, one of the biggest poltiical haymaking platforms is gone...that being health care for all. So talk about being selfish....SIGH. And they have been trying to come up with a good universal plan since Bill was in office and no one has come up with one yet.
And to top that off, if they don't hurry up and work on the appropriations bill and take out the Iraq withdrawal deadline so it will pass, quite a few federal employees will be looking at furloughed positions because their funding is all tied up in the Iraq spending. I realize elections are coming up but sheesh...they should ALL, on both sides, actually try to get some work done. That is what our tax dollars are paying the yahoos for. I wish WE could stop THEIR checks and perks. Then we could see something done...betcha. lol.
