farm and were $11 short for the loan. Didn't get the farm, even though we had a great plan on what we were going to do with it, plus we were still going to work full time in our jobs until things got up and running. Had a lot of farmers going to lease part of the land off us, but didn't matter. There was no house on the land and we had to put a house there. That's what took us over the amount. We tried to compromise, but they didn't accept the compromise either. So, we lost a 42 acre farm (freedom if you will) for a lousy $11.
