Most churches are going to talk about sin, it's a big part of the faith. But I can understand that you want to hear the good too. Just make sure you don't hear just the good. Got to have an even balance of both. Unfortunately a lot of "preachers" these days just want to talk about how great it is and how being a Christian will solve all your problems, they don't want to talk about the trials and tribulations that Christians go through, how there will be times when your faith is tested, and times when Satan (yes I believe he is very real) will come beating down your door to try to make you turn away from God.
Good luck finding a home! My suggestion is find the church who's website looks like it was made by one of the members using a "how to for dummies" book lol. Usually the ones that have to do everything for themselves are the ones where you'll find the most faithful servants!
