Not even in the same league. Moore and Franken care deeply for our country and presents opinions and facts to make people aware and think about issues. Coulter churns out books with juvenile insults as titles.

Ventura was actually not bad at all, and Franken (sm)
is infinitely preferable to the slimy Norm Coleman. I wouldn't have voted for Norm under any circumstances (even if running against Chuck E. Cheese) after I saw the vicious character attacks that essentially his campaign issued.
Al Franken on Rush Limbaugh
Al Franken on Rush Limbaugh
I've heard Al Franken say this on a television interview. He repeated it in an interview with Geov Parrish at WorkingforChange.com (05/02/05) to which we can conveniently link:
GP: What do you think the differences are between you and Limbaugh?
AF: I'm glad you asked me that. I use this example a lot. A few months ago, Rush was talking about the minimum wage. Conservatives like to portray it that no one has to raise a family on the minimum wage, the only people who get the minimum wage are teenagers who want to buy an i-Pod. So Rush says, "75 percent of all Americans on the minimum wage, my friends, are teenagers on their first job." And one of the researchers brings this to me, with a smile, and I say, "Well, can you look it up?" And they look it up, the researcher goes to something called the Bureau of Labor Statistics. 60.1 percent of Americans on minimum wage are twenty and above. 39.9 percent, then, are either teenagers or below twelve (laughs). I had several jobs as a teenager, so you figure, what, 13 percent might be teenagers in their first job. Not 75 percent. So where did Rush get his statistic? Well, he got it directly from his butt. It went out his butt, into his mouth, out the microphone, into the air, into the brains of dittoheads. And they believe this stuff.
So we get our labor statistics from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. He gets his from the Bureau of Rush's Butt. And that's the difference. We don't do that. That's one of the main differences.
I cannot say about Franken....and whether he loves the country or not...
but to say Michael Moore cares deeply about this country is ridiculous. One has only to listen to what he says. He holds this country in contempt.
Ann Coulter makes juvenile insults...okay fine. Franken makes bigoted hateful insults...especially about gays. Pot calling kettle black, big time. If Ann Coulter was on your side of the fence making juvenile insults about Republicans you would be lauding her as well. Kinda transparent...and extreme partisan. I condemned them all...you condemned only the Republican. That speaks for itself.
Al Franken brings class
Just what we need in there.
I've been an Al Franken fan for many years.
He has been a very knowledgeable political pundit for a long time. If you knew anything about him, of course, you would know. So I guess you think that anyone that wasn't necessarily born into politics isn't capable of doing a fantastic job in their position? How many small-minded of you.
The truth about Al Franken/Air America that you won't find on the
http://www.airamericaradio.com/node/904
Statement:
Sept 7, 2005 - Danny Goldberg, CEO of Air America Radio, announced today that the Board of Directors of Piquant, LLC, owner of Air America Radio, has accelerated its payment schedule and has deposited into an escrow account the full payment of $875,000 they had pledged to give the Gloria Wise Boys and Girls Club to compensate the Club for money it loaned to Evan Cohen and Progress Media, the previous owners of the Network. The funds will remain in escrow until the New York Department of Investigation , which is currently reviewing the Club's finances, completes its work and authorizes payment.
Goldberg also issued the following statement:
An article that appeared on September 7 th in the New York Sun suggested that Al Franken , host of The Al Franken Show on Air America Radio, is somehow involved with the loan from the Gloria Wise Club.
Al Franken does not have and never had any responsibility for this loan. His role at Air America was then and remains today as on-air talent.
Air America is cooperating fully with that Department of Investigation's inquiry into the financial affairs of the Gloria Wise Boys and Girls Club. Air America itself is not under investigation. And none of this has anything to do with Al Franken .
Franken did everything that he could to help save Air America in the Network' s difficult early days including waiving claims against the original corporation and its executives that started Air America making it possible for Piquant, LLC, the new company that acquired Air America, to function.
The loan from the Gloria Wise Boys and Girls Club to Air America was arranged by Evan Cohen who briefly ran Air America while simultaneously serving on the Board of the Club.
As has been widely publicized, a group of investors, including RealNetworks CEO Rob Glaser, created a new company, Piquant, LLC, which took control of the Network and by November 2004, had settled all claims between themselves and Cohen and Sorenson and their companies Progress Media and Radio Free America. Neither Cohen nor Sorenson has had any involvement with Air America since that time.
The Sun piece refers to a document that Franken signed. Conservative columnist Michelle Malkin, wrote in her blog on Sept 7 th that Franken's signature is on the settlement agreement in which Piquant LLC agreed to repay the loan. This is not true.
The document is clearly a SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT. It was created for investors, executives and some talent, including Franken, to waive their claims against Cohen and Sorenson, in return for which Cohen and Sorenson waived any claims against Piquant, or its investors or employees.
This was not an agreement to which the Boys and Girls Club was a party. Settlement letters between Piquant and the Gloria Wise Boys and Girls Club were exchanged several months later in March 2005. Franken was not involved with any of these discussions or decisions.
In the November agreement, some potential Air America liabilities were listed in an appendix. This appendix was created as part of the mutual waiver of claims between the Piquant investors and Cohen and Sorenson and did not apply to Franken, who was not an investor. Franken's role in the agreement was simply to waive his own claims in order to facilitate the transaction and allow the Network to survive under new ownership.
On March 28 th , 2005 Jeanette Graves, President of the Board of the Gloria Wise Boys and Girls Club, wrote to Glaser concluding the negotiations with the Club, as follows: The Club accepts the offer you described. I want you to know that on behalf of the children and families we serve, the Club and its directors are very appreciative of Air America 's willingness to commit to a repayment schedule.
On August 5 th , 2005 at the request of the New York City Department of Investigation, Air America made the first scheduled payment into an escrow account rather than directly to Gloria Wise.
On Sept 7 th , 2005 the Board of Piquant accelerated the payment schedule and wired the balance of the money so that the full $875,000 is now in that escrow account.
Cornyn threatens filibuster over Franken
GOP campaign chief John Cornyn (R-Texas) vowed Friday that Republicans would block any attempt by Democrats to seat AL Franken when the Senate gavels into order next week.
Franken is leading Republican incumbent Norm Coleman by a slim 49-vote margin, but more than 1,000 votes have yet to be counted and legal challenges remain.
In a conference call with reporters today, Cornyn, the newly selected head of the National Republican Senatorial Committee said: “I think it’s very clear that the people of Minnesota and the courts of Minnesota” should choose between Franken and Coleman, “and not politicians in Washington, D.C.”
“It is the height of arrogance for any leader in Washington, D.C. to tell Minnesota voters whose votes should count and whose votes shouldn’t count,” Cornyn added.
The Texas senator was responding to comments made by Minnesota’s Democratic junior senator, Amy Klobuchar, suggesting Franken should be seated in the upper chamber if he is certified as the winner by the State Canvassing Board. The Board is scheduled to meet Saturday to count at least 1,350 absentee ballots.
"If the Canvassing Board declares a winner, that should be our senator," Klobuchar said last week. Even if a court challenge were to follow, Klobuchar said, "[The Senate] could seat a senator pending the litigation."
But Cornyn said Republicans were prepared to filibuster any attempt to seat Franken.
“There will be no scenario in which Republicans agree” to seat Franken without the complete resolution of legal cases surrounding the election and a certification from the state’s Democratic secretary of state and Republican governor, Cornyn said.
As the recount drags on, legal obstacles await. On Wednesday, Coleman filed a lawsuit alleging that election officials had not adopted uniform vote counting standards across the state. And Cornyn was quick to note that any Minnesota citizens have the right to file legal challenges of their own in the days ahead.
“I really think we need to be patient and allow the process to work its way through,” Cornyn said.
Murtha, Pelosi, Barney Frank, Al Franken!, ughh!.
nm
Dems have stolen/manufactured votes for Franken in this election...wonderful stuff

Michael Moore's Open Letter to Bush
Friday, September 2nd, 2005 Dear Mr. Bush: Any idea where all our helicopters are? It's Day 5 of Hurricane Katrina and thousands remain stranded in New Orleans and need to be airlifted. Where on earth could you have misplaced all our military choppers? Do you need help finding them? I once lost my car in a Sears parking lot. Man, was that a drag. Also, any idea where all our national guard soldiers are? We could really use them right now for the type of thing they signed up to do like helping with national disasters. How come they weren't there to begin with? Last Thursday I was in south Florida and sat outside while the eye of Hurricane Katrina passed over my head. It was only a Category 1 then but it was pretty nasty. Eleven people died and, as of today, there were still homes without power. That night the weatherman said this storm was on its way to New Orleans. That was Thursday! Did anybody tell you? I know you didn't want to interrupt your vacation and I know how you don't like to get bad news. Plus, you had fundraisers to go to and mothers of dead soldiers to ignore and smear. You sure showed her! I especially like how, the day after the hurricane, instead of flying to Louisiana, you flew to San Diego to party with your business peeps. Don't let people criticize you for this -- after all, the hurricane was over and what the heck could you do, put your finger in the dike? And don't listen to those who, in the coming days, will reveal how you specifically reduced the Army Corps of Engineers' budget for New Orleans this summer for the third year in a row. You just tell them that even if you hadn't cut the money to fix those levees, there weren't going to be any Army engineers to fix them anyway because you had a much more important construction job for them -- BUILDING DEMOCRACY IN IRAQ! On Day 3, when you finally left your vacation home, I have to say I was moved by how you had your Air Force One pilot descend from the clouds as you flew over New Orleans so you could catch a quick look of the disaster. Hey, I know you couldn't stop and grab a bullhorn and stand on some rubble and act like a commander in chief. Been there done that. There will be those who will try to politicize this tragedy and try to use it against you. Just have your people keep pointing that out. Respond to nothing. Even those pesky scientists who predicted this would happen because the water in the Gulf of Mexico is getting hotter and hotter making a storm like this inevitable. Ignore them and all their global warming Chicken Littles. There is nothing unusual about a hurricane that was so wide it would be like having one F-4 tornado that stretched from New York to Cleveland. No, Mr. Bush, you just stay the course. It's not your fault that 30 percent of New Orleans lives in poverty or that tens of thousands had no transportation to get out of town. C'mon, they're black! I mean, it's not like this happened to Kennebunkport. Can you imagine leaving white people on their roofs for five days? Don't make me laugh! Race has nothing -- NOTHING -- to do with this! You hang in there, Mr. Bush. Just try to find a few of our Army helicopters and send them there. Pretend the people of New Orleans and the Gulf Coast are near Tikrit. Yours, Michael MooreMMFlint@aol.com:ol('http://www.michaelmoore.com'); target=_blank>www.MichaelMoore.comP.S. That annoying mother, Cindy Sheehan, is no longer at your ranch. She and dozens of other relatives of the Iraqi War dead are now driving across the country, stopping in many cities along the way. Maybe you can :ol('http://www.bringthemhomenowtour.org/userdata_display.php?modin%3d50'); target=_blank>catch up with them before they get to DC on September 21st.

Moore
I'm probably the only person in the world who hasn't seen a single Michael Moore movie, and I don't know very much about him.
After reading his very well written letter, though, I think it's time to change all that. He very eloquently called a spade a spade!
Neither has Moore been convicted...sm
of any wrong doing against Damon, but that point flew right over.
Don't bother wasting your time on my posts AG.
She gets by with it the same way Michael Moore gets by with it...
he has said some pretty hateful things himself. And here is a pretty hateful personal attack from AL Franken: *I said that Sean Hannity took residence up
Newt Gingrich's butt from 94 to 98. I got
that from British intelligence. It turns out
he only took up residence in 95* but you did not see that reported in the media with conservatives running backward and screeching. That is a hateful tasteless personal attack. Here is another: Republicans are shameless d**ks. No, that's not fair. Republican politicians are shameless d**ks. Lovely, eh? And another one: Minnesota Republican Norman Coleman is one of the administration's leading butt boys. Classless, tasteless.
So you see what I am saying...the left accepts crap from Al Franken but will not accept crap from Ann Coulter. Crap is crap in my opinion.
I think Michael Moore
is a brave patriot, but that would feed into the conspiracy theory. I would be happy with any of recognized Sunday interview programs to start with.
Michael Moore
I've seen some of his movies, not all. I happen to also agree with his documentary on 9/11. There is evil afoot in our government and it's been going on for a very long time. Neither party is exempt from blame which is why I am independent. I would vote for (and have done so)a republican in a New York minute if I felt they had the best agenda for REAL change. I will admit that I probably lean more toward Democrats than Republicans as I feel they get their riches more from the middle class (i.e. labor) and the Republicans get their's from big business but please do not get busy calling me a DEMOCRAT!!!!! I have a brain that I use for reasoning and I don't support EITHER party as a whole.
Actually....Michael Moore did just that...
in his move. He went around the world and asked about healthcare. He also took Americans who could not afford medications here in the US to other countries with universal health care and guess what? They were actually treated! You might want to go to Blockbuster and check that one out....LOL.
Moore has always told the truth.
That's why the Wrong Right hates him to viciously. Really all you have to do is look at who they smear the most vehemently and you will find some of the bravest, most honest, humanitarian and patriotic people in the nation.
and don't forget Michael Moore!
Michael Moore Message
My response:
I know you are dismayed and disheartened at the results of last week's election. You're worried that the country is heading toward a very bad place you don't want it to go. Your 12-year Republican Revolution has ended with so much yet to do, so many promises left unfulfilled. You are in a funk, and I understand. Gee thanks, Mike, but I am not in a funk. I know in whom I believe and it is not a political party and not you. As to things left undone...yer pal Bill left many things undone also...terrorists running amuck free to plot and plan 9-11 because he was too busy in the cigar bidness with Monica Lewinsky to react decisively to them, too busy lying to a grand jury, too busy obstructing justice, too busy taking care of Vince Foster (though I believe Hillary had more to do with that than Bill did)....as AG said: pot, kettle, pot kettle.
Well, cheer up, my friends! Do not despair. I have good news for you. I, and the millions of others who are now in charge with our Democratic Congress, have a pledge we would like to make to you, a list of promises that we offer you because we value you as our fellow Americans. You deserve to know what we plan to do with our newfound power -- and, to be specific, what we will do to you and for you. Oh, yeah, you cannot imagine how jazzed we are that YOU and the Democrats are in charge now. Whoopeee. ROFL. You value us as fellow Americans? What a load of hooey. Oh I know what you plan to do TO us...I believe it is calling hosing. For us? Nada.
Thus, here is our Liberal's Pledge to Disheartened Conservatives:
Dear Conservatives and Republicans,
I, and my fellow signatories, hereby make these promises to you:
1. We will always respect you for your conservative beliefs. We will never, ever, call you unpatriotic simply because you disagree with us. In fact, we encourage you to dissent and disagree with us. You should look up respect in your Funk and Wagnall's, Mikey. You have never shown it...how could you? You have no clue what respect means. You were called unpatriotic because it is unpatriotic to criticize publicly your country and its leadership in a time of war. Look up patriotic in your Funk and Wagnall's.
2. We will let you marry whomever you want, even when some of us consider your behavior to be different or immoral. Who you marry is none of our business. Love and be in love -- it's a wonderful gift. Umm, down there where you say you will respect (again, you need to look that one up!) our beliefs...well this one flies in the face of that. But...oh....your moral compass went wonky years ago. Might want to look up morality while you are in the dictionary. Look, Mike....what people do in the privacy of their bedrooms is up to them, but do not expect us to agree that it is right and it is not wrong, because we are not going to do it. If they are sure they are right, they should not need our blessing. I am not telling them that they cannot do it...I am telling them I will not, cannot condone it. Period, end of sentence. What next? Stealing will be okay because you have not and and you want to have? And then what?
3. We will not spend your grandchildren's money on our personal whims or to enrich our friends. It's your checkbook, too, and we will balance it for you. Oh, that's rich, coming from you. The tax and spend group. You want to spend our grandchildren's money on programs that keep people enslaved to your philosophy so they will keep voting for you. You actually think we don't know that?
4. When we soon bring our sons and daughters home from Iraq, we will bring your sons and daughters home, too. They deserve to live. We promise never to send your kids off to war based on either a mistake or a lie. You are so full of it, Mikey. When are you going to stop beating that dead horse?
5. When we make America the last Western democracy to have universal health coverage, and all Americans are able to get help when they fall ill, we promise that you, too, will be able to see a doctor, regardless of your ability to pay. And when stem cell research delivers treatments and cures for diseases that affect you and your loved ones, we'll make sure those advances are available to you and your family, too. And when the quality of that care tanks and it takes months and years to get treatment, if America is so deluded as to go down that road...you with all the bucks will be fine. These poor and downtrodden you want to champion will get the short end of the stick...you know it and I know it, trouble is, THEY don't know it. You have got the wool pulled snugly down around their toes. Shame on you.
6. Even though you have opposed environmental regulation, when we clean up our air and water, we, the Democratic majority, will let you, too, breathe the cleaner air and drink the purer water. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What do you drive? How many times a month do you fly? How much have you PERSONALLY done about any of those things? Gimme a break.
7. Should a mass murderer ever kill 3,000 people on our soil, we will devote every single resource to tracking him down and bringing him to justice. Immediately. We will protect you. HA! That is the biggest lie of all. It was when your boys were in charge that terrorism escalated to unimaginable heights. Your boy Bill could have put bin Laden in the slammer BEFORE 3000 people were killed. You protect us??? The fox is in the hen house, Mikey. You couldn't protect a flea in Fort Knox.
8. We will never stick our nose in your bedroom or your womb. What you do there as consenting adults is your business. We will continue to count your age from the moment you were born, not the moment you were conceived. Thanks for nothing! Flying a plane into a building and killing 3000 was terrible, but you are condoning mass murder on a grand scale of the most innocent among us. Millions. What an absolutely ridiculous thing to say. Morally bankrupt. That aptly describes the liberal view espoused here.
9. We will not take away your hunting guns. If you need an automatic weapon or a handgun to kill a bird or a deer, then you really aren't much of a hunter and you should, perhaps, pick up another sport. We will make our streets and schools as free as we can from these weapons and we will protect your children just as we would protect ours. Thank you but no thank you. I will protect my own children. I wouldn't trust you to protect a gerbil.
10. When we raise the minimum wage, we will pay you -- and your employees -- that new wage, too. When women are finally paid what men make, we will pay conservative women that wage, too. Then why do you and your ilk keep going to Canada to do your movies, etc., where you don't have to pay American Union wages and can do it cheaper? You are so full of crap. Don't know how you are still able to talk.
11. We will respect your religious beliefs, even when you don't put those beliefs into practice. We do put them into practice. You hate it when we do, when we call wrong, wrong. Like abortion...like same sex marriage....like.....you are the most intolerant of the intolerant. Why people cannot see through your facade is beyond me. In fact, we will actively seek to promote your most radical religious beliefs (Blessed are the poor, seeking to keep them poor and under your thumb is not helping the poor) Blessed are the peacemakers (we do believe in peace, but we do not believe in letting those who DO NOT come here and kill us), Love your enemies (when you get that one down pat, call me), It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God (yep, if you worship money above God, it is, hellooo Mike) brothers of mine, you did for me.(sorry, but hearing you quote scripture is really hard for me when I know you don't believe a word of it...and these are not RADICAL beliefs. Chopping off your head if you don't agree is radical, you goof. Saying convert or we will kill you is radical. We just call what is wrong wrong. We agree to disagree). We will let people in other countries know that God doesn't just bless America, he blesses everyone. We will discourage religious intolerance and fanaticism -- starting with the fanaticism here at home, thus setting a good example for the rest of the world. You would not know a good example if it bit you on your rather large rear end. I believe you are wrong about God blessing everyone. Yes, he does not want even one to perish, that is why Christians try to get the word out. We would like everyone to have eternal life. EVERYONE. But we don't chop off dissenters' heads. It is a free choice, Mikey. You come to Him or you don't. YOUR choice. Not MINE. Which is probably what chaps you so much. Because you are so fond of telling people what they should do, and to do it YOUR way. Look up intolerance while you are in your F&W. Fits the liberal view much more than the conservative view.
12. We will not tolerate politicians who are corrupt and who are bought and paid for by the rich. We will go after any elected leader who puts him or herself ahead of the people. And we promise you we will go after the corrupt politicians on our side FIRST. If we fail to do this, we need you to call us on it. Simply because we are in power does not give us the right to turn our heads the other way when our party goes astray. Please perform this important duty as the loyal opposition. We will not tolerate corrupt politicians. Oh, boy, that is rich!! I can hardly type through tears of hysterical laughter. Bill - felony perjury and obstruction of justice; Bill and Hill...convicted of several things back in home state...and still have yet to explain dead Vince Foster--- Murtha, unindicted co-conspirator--Harry Reid, all kinds of shady deals....pullleezzzzeeee. Pot kettle pot kettle.
I promise all of the above to you because this is your country, too. You are every bit as American as we are. We are all in this together. We sink or swim as one. Thank you for your years of service to this country and for giving us the opportunity to see if we can make things a bit better for our 300 million fellow Americans -- and for the rest of the world.
Wow, I bet you had to grit your teeth while you wrote that one. But I see through ya, Mikey. You are going to try the get more bees with honey because your true colors during the last Presidential election didn't work, did they big guy? You are so transparent. Just wish those who hang on your every word realized it. You wouldn't know the truth if it slapped you upside your rather large head.
Ya know, Mikey, conservatives don't hate liberals. We don't hate you. We are afraid for them and you and afraid for ourselves with you in control..but we don't hate you. I pray for them. I pray for you. I hope one day the light will really come on and you will know the truth. I pray it happens before you take us all down with you. I pray it happens before the radical Muslims start blowing up children in our malls, when cars are no longer safe and we do not feel safe even in our homes. I sincerely pray that it happens before that. Yes, we should all sink or swim as one, but if we hold onto the guidebook, the Bible, as one, our chances are much greater to swim.
God bless!

Michael Moore a patriot? sm
in WHAT alternate universe? Investigate? He wouldn't know a true investigation if it bit him on his very large butt. During the last election when he called Americans in general and Democrats in particular stupid...well I guess he loves the country but holds the people in contempt...particularly liberals as that is what he said...a patriot? Well the founding fathers would spin in their graves on that one. LOL...omg. Michael Moore a patriot. LOL.
MIchael Moore should be grateful
to live in America - a place where he can get rich off of blasting everything that is American. I believe everyone has a right to thier opinion, but to honestly say that one party is responsible for the way the economy is going right now is reprehensible.
You really think that it's the government's fault about the housing crisis? Sure, they set the plans in motion (plans that were started by the Clinton administration so that lower income people could get a home loan - Bush's mistake was to keep those plans going - this crisis has been coming on for a long time and everyone ignored it), but what about the people that actually went ahead and got those loans, knowing full well that they wouldn't be able to carry that mortgage out?
We all need to stop pointing the fingers at Washington and take a little of the responsibility ourselves. We're a nation that became very comfortable in our easy lifestyle and the more we could get, the more we would take. Now we want our government to give us more?
Left to his own devices, Michael Moore would probably declare himself dictator and rename our country Mooreland or something crazy like that. Gotta disagree with you on this one, gourdpainter; check out some of his movies and articles and I think you may find that you agree with him maybe 32%.
Michael Moore is disgusting any way you look
nm
Cant trust anything Moore puts out there
nm
Michael moore only cares about two things....
Michael Moore and his checkbook.
I think Micheal Moore is a lot smarter than most people
give him credit for.
I'm not in favor of the bail-outs starting with Wall Street. That didn't accomplish much in the way of helping the economy. I really think the auto workers will continue to be laid off because no one will be above to afford new vehicles. I MIGHT consider supporting a loan if I saw proof that the execs were indeed going to work for $1 a year...with NO bonuses or other underhanded payments, proof that they had sold their luxurious jets and most of all that they WOULD USE ONLY PARTS THAT WERE MANUFACTURED IN THE U.S. AND THAT NO NEW PLANTS WOULD BE BUILT IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES WITH THE INTENTION OF BRINGING THE PRODUCTS BACK HERE TO BE SOLD. This exporting mess is what started this whole melt down IMHO.
Michael Moore fans will get a good
He sure has a special talent for making stuupid people look even stuupider. Take, for example, the Westboro Baptist Church in Kansas:

Michael Moore is a known liar on many stories,
nm
You related to Michael Moore? You twist
nm
Yeah and #2 is Jimmy Carter and #3 Michael Moore. So what? SM
Wow, you are easily amused.
They usually don't listen to the truth - they probably get their info from Michael Moore.
oh yeah, and we can trust him???? NOT.
Michael Moore has a slanted view of America
He's been trying to "subvert" everyting in American since the ྌs. He's a really big jerk (no pun intended on size) and I wouldn't give him the time of day if he asked.
He's a creep. He's the one who should move to a different country since he finds so much wrong with this one.

This woman is a crazy idiot.
From Hannity and Colmes, August 25, 2005:
COLMES:...And I want to ask you about something, Ann, that you wrote in your most recent column. You had a very funny line, actually, that it is hard to find a parking spot in New York City. There's no question about it. You've had a pretty good day if you can do that.
But then you said, It's far preferable to fight them on the streets of Baghdad than in the streets of New York, where the residents would immediately surrender. Now, some New Yorkers...
HENICAN: Ooh...
COLMES: ... felt that you were calling them cowards by making that statement.
COULTER: No, I think I was calling them supporters of Cindy Sheehan.
COLMES: Is that what that is? You certainly don't feel that New Yorkers are cowards?
COULTER: I think they would immediately surrender.
COLMES: So you do?
COULTER: I don't -- I don't think -- I think I'd rather have them trying to invade Mississippi or Georgia, Alabama, you know, the states where I want Cindy Sheehan's bus tour to go.
Coulter
This is too funny.
Isn't she the one who surrendered ran away from a PIE that someone hurled at her on a stage?
Crazy idiot? LOL. You're being very kind!
Coulter
And you think the average New Yorker would stand and fight? She makes a valid point. New York would be MUCH easier to take than Alabama...Oklahoma...Mississippi...Georgia. She may be over the top in her expression, but she has a valid point. And as to running from the pie...she did not know at first it was a pie. And you would have stood your ground? I think not...lol
Coulter
Yes she is. She said Cindy's demonstration was piss-poor until it reached at least 50,000, and she is gonna get it. Can I recommend you get off this board, and at least go on Bill Maher's board. They are much more informed, both left and right. Go to Bill Maher's website. There are of course, right slanted people there, but much more intelligent and informed than on here.
What does Coulter have to do with this?
.
Coulter? Oh, please
Sorry, I dont believe a word Coulter says or writes.
Ann Coulter
I encourage all responsible posters on this board to go to the NBC website and drop them a note regarding Coulter's scheduled appearance on Today. I am letting them know that I do not appreciate their promotion of an old, hateful voice. We hae turned the page. Let the media know we are tired of division and name calling. The hateful right has a plethora of media outlets. Coulter can spread her trash talk on them.
I like Ann Coulter....sm
She's usually correct in her statements, and anyone on the left can't hold a candle to her in a debate.
Ann Coulter..(sm)
I was watching MSNBC last night, and noted that Olberman came up with an excellent question. Coulter has been trying to get an interview in NBC to promote her book (which, by the way, talks about NBC like a dog) and has been ticked off because he was bumped a day back. Olberman's question was if she hates NBC so much and thinks everything out of their mouths is lies, why does she want to be on that network in the first place...Hmmmmm
Then she finally got the interview. As expected, she made a complete fool of herself, most of the time whining about how terrible the network she was appearing on actually was -- all the while trying to sell her latest book. It's amazing what one will do to sell a book. I guess she didn't get a very good response in terms of book sales from the Fixed news viewers.

So, just for fun I decided to check out some of her other interviews. Ya gotta love this one:

Ann Coulter....she....sm
puts a mirror up to the faces of the liberals, and the liberals can't stand what they see in their reflection.
She tells the truth, and they just plain don't like it.
And I'm talking about her books here.
And no, I'm not going to give you a for instance, or citation, BB, because you will just pooh-pooh it anyway.
But it's the truth, just the same. Libs hate the truth about themselves, and she always reveals them for what they are.
pies and Coulter
I would LOVE my cousin, John, who is a NYC vice detective, to give her the first pie in her face **smile**.
Coulter..blah.., LOL
Well, I gotta tell ya, on Huffingtonpost, the posted Coulters idiotic remarks about New York surrendering in an attack and, OMG, the come back posts have been hilarious, LMBO. to the tune of, I want to beat your a__, Coulter, Coulter, hope you dont eat in NY restaurants anymore, cause you wont find a table, LOL. I invite you to scroll to the lower part of the Huffingtonpost page (hope the article is still up) and read some of the posters giving their 2 cents about Coulters comments. Hey, you know what, I am a New Yorker and I gotta tell ya, put me and Coulter together for whatever..civil debate (sure..sure), fistacuffs, I would win hands down..Yeehhaaww..Oh, oh, am I gonna be reported to the administrator by some cry baby conservative now? Geez..Louise..
Ann Coulter, has issues. nm
Nuff said.
LOL. Coulter. Now there's a real gem.
Thanks, Starcat. Poor souls. That's all they know how to do. Swiftboat others. I suppose everyone has to be good at something. I don't even remotely expect it to stop, and yes, sure looks like I did hit a nerve, otherwise they wouldn't bother to keep trying to discredit me. The way I figure it, the more *Swiftboating* that goes on, the closer I came to exposing the truth, so in a way, their *feedback* is very helpful.
The only reason I posted the second post (which I addressed to Liberals) was that I fully realized how bizarre the whole concept sounded. Who in their right mind could believe something like that could happen here in America, that the lunatic fringe was comprised of so many people? I guess that's what makes it so darn frightening.
You have a nice day now. As for me, I'm going to go check the stock prices for Kool-Aid. Might be time to invest.
If Coulter is so religious...
...why doesn't anyone know her at the church she says she attends?
I have never once defended Ann Coulter.
But in your rage and blind hatred, you failed to see that. In fact, I have stated more than once that I don't care for her. But don't let me confuse you with facts. You are obviously in full blown rage and far be it from me to stop you.
but yet you all are obsessed with Ann Coulter?
I guess a person who is supposed to be teaching objective education gets a pass for saying outrageous stuff and commiting plagarism, but an author out in the marketplace whose products can be bought or not bought is a HUGE threat to all of all.
Typical liberalism. To liberalism capitalism is the enemy.
George Will on Coulter sm
