We used to listen to them all the time when we lived there but their viewpoints of America and what really happens in America are two different things. You know, similar to MSNBC and CNN.

These are the facts: MT stated she was going to Iraq. She said it, you defended her for whatever reason. If you cannot see that what she said was an untruth then you appear to have a distorted view of reality.

put to rest. Regarding the "liberal" media and its slant in favor of liberal thinking. Tonight on 20/20 (ABC - one of the big 3) had a story by that highly regarded, unbiased John Stossel. The subject was "scientists who disagree with the global warming theory and the threats on their lives!!" It was mentioned it twice -- they actually been threatened with DEATH for disagreeing. I watched. It was 6 assorted scientists who claimed that global warming might not be caused by mankind, and even if it were, it might not be all bad. The horrific death threats -- are you ready? An e-mail stating "you might not even be alive when the planet warms up." Sends a shiver up your spine, doesn't it? Bill O'Reilly himself couldn't have made a bigger mountain out of that molehill.

There is a flip side to some Canadians coming into the US to get health care, jump the line, etc. For every Canadian that comes here for care there is an equal or larger number of Americans entering Canada to obtain more reasonable medication. Also, a small but growing situation are Americans traveling to India for surgical procedures that they otherwise could not afford in the US.
As I have said before, I certainly do not have the magic "fix" for the health care debacle, but there is a flip side regarding Canada, etc.
A distortion of the facts - see message
Not everyone in America voted. He received 59% of votes of the people who voted, but that did not equal up to 59% of America. Out of over 200K who are eligible to vote, only 69.4K voted for him. 59.9K voted for McCain, and 70.7K did not vote for him or McCain. When you add them with McCain and you get 69.4 who voted for the anointed one and 130.6K who did not vote for him.
They are reporting they have the 12 votes they need. sm
Just like the Senate, they are making it clear they do not care what their constituents think. The peasants need to start getting mad and show up with their torches and pitchforks.

I know from 9/11 that Osama wanted to hurt us financially. In fact, I was waiting for a terror attack 2-3 weeks after our financial crisis to hit us in the US. Then with the elections and all, I forgot about it, but now this is brought up again. Did you hear about the Russian Nuclear Sub and had 20 deaths reported on that sub? What were they doing?
I must admit we should stock up on supplies like food, water, etc. Remember the 2000 crisis known as Y2K? I went to a lot of meetings about the Y2K. I know we are not having a Y2K problem, but it did help me to understand on what to do if power went out, food famine, money, etc.
I know all about the Palo Nuclear Power plant outside of Phoenix. In fact everything about it. Even visited the silly place. Too much knowledge actually. Care to know about it, email me. I know about the electric grid and how we could be out of power for months and how the grid is all connected to most states, except Texas may pull through it. I know why we have to have 3 day supply of water, because that is how long it will take someone to get to your neighborhood to give you more water each day in case you need it. Gosh, I even bought books about Y2K and should probably read those again because it tells you about how to handle a crisis.
Hope you live in a good neighborhood and better get to know your neighbors. You all might have to come together some time down the road during a crisis, otherwise, you could be at war with each other, stealing things, using guns and all because of fighting over things. I am thinking of worst case scenerio of course.

This is an attack against a Christian group, plain and simple. Once the Christians are sufficiently quieted, they will move on to the next group that threatens the reign of the government.
Should I report the Mormons down the street who gather every week?
Or what about the girl scout leader who has sleep overs all the time and meetings at her house once a week? And they sell cookies! That should definitely be considered a business!
Anyone trying to twist this around to building codes really needs to pull the wool off of their eyes. It's infringement on our rights, plain and simple.

I wonder how long it will take before they stop letting returning soldiers gather together? Since they are also on the list of suspected domestic terrorists...
Oh and I remember how much the Jewish community down the street from where I grew up loved to get together on a weekly basis to socialize, eat, etc., wonder when they will be stopped?
