Calling his speech "drivel". That's your opinion. There are a lot of people who watched and were interested.
Yeah they are entitled to a private moment. Believe it or not they do have them, but of all times they decide they want a "private moment"????? To not attend the President of the United States Farewell speech is just bad manners and not very becoming for an incoming president no matter how much you agree/disagree with him.
Using the excuse of a birthday celebration? That's about as low class and as big of an obvious lie as you can make obvious.
So what would it have taken for him to say, Hey honey, lets do this but lets do it a little later and wait until the speech is over. Even if they sat in their hotel room and didn't watch it, but pass the time for petes sake instead of being so obviously blantantly rude.
How would he like it if nobody showed up or listened to his inaugeration speech.
Bad taste Obama, very bad taste.

I just think that it is disrespectful
to any president to be placed on the cover of a magazine like that. He is our commander and chief (regardless of whether I like him or not) and that position does demand some respect. For the magazine to put him on the cover like that.....is just disrespectful. He isn't a hollywood celeb. He is our president.....show some class. I'm not blaming Obama for his pic being put on the magazine.....I'm just astounded that the magazine would do that and it once again shows the media love affair with Barrack Obama.
Again, please show me where I was disrespectful. Thank you.
