I rarely saw Michelle Obama on stage during the campaign either. She was there for the Democratic nomination and event at Grant Park, as she have been. The only other time I saw her was when President-Elect Obama went back to see his dying grandmother, and Michelle took his place at some of the rallies. Most likely, she was at home taking care of her children and making sure that they went to school and led as normal a life as possible under the circumstances.
