She's willing to fight for the blob....(sm)
but not the turkey!!  The voice of the turkey will be heard!!!!  LOL.
Everyone begins somewhere...blob of cells or not (sm)
still a life in the making. Just because he/she is in the very early stages makes him/her no less a real person, coming to life.
Yes, I would. In a heartbeat. sm
Atheists are often very rational, reasonable people who tend to make decisions based on facts and evidence (as opposed to religious belief which often does not). Give me ration and reason over ancient superstition any day. I love Sam Harris' quote: "I know of no society in human history that ever suffered because its people became too reasonable."

I hope the Bush admin. is the closest our country ever comes to being a theocracry. I would much prefer an atheist president who makes decisions based on reason than who makes decisions because he thinks God speaks to him (George Bush). What lunacy.

No way I'd vote for McCain, BTW, but if he picks Romney as his VP running mate? I find that frightening. Someone who believes in 'magic underwear' as our nation's VP? No, thanks.

I wish Obama had more experience, and I wish he were much *less* religious, but he seems to me to be the lesse of 2 evils, so to speak.
One heartbeat away from the presidency.,,,,,,,,
Very scary indeed for a candidate with a 4-year degree in journalism
And it can all change (more or less) in a heartbeat

and all those who had to register can be called into service.  The government never asks for information for absolutely no reason.  Gun registrations, a national DNA registry, computerized national medical records, all the intrusive questions on the census..... Does anyone really not believe these things cannot come back to bite us and/or be used against us?  Even if you trust the current administration (anybody?)  all the information accumulated in the government's database will be available for the next guy to use.

Hi!  I'm from the government, and I'm here to help you!

Colin Powell would get voted in in a heartbeat if he ran.
He would have democratic and republican support.

I wish he would run too!
