Well, we don't really celebrate our birthdays any differently ...
But, for my 40th, my sister had a great party for me.
She made up trivia questions about my life, with pictures to match. She put these on one side of cardstock, with the answers on the other side. She put these on the little metal stakes you can put a plant ID or picture on, and stuck them in flower pots she painted black and grew grass in. On the flower pots, she wrote the year that the question pertained to, in chalk. These were all over her house and everybody really enjoyed going around and reading them.
It was great because we had only been in the area about 3 years, so my new friends got to meet my family and learn a little bit more about me.
