Blair house is about 70,000 sq feet, comprised of townhouses, 110 rooms, 35 bathrooms.  I doubt the visiting has-been from Australia (who, by the way, got kicked out of office because of aligning himself with Bush) would really need that much room.  There were no other visitors scheduled.

This guy is also supposed to be a good friend of Bush's.  If that's the case, why didn't Bush just ask him to stay at the White House?  Maybe there wasn't enough room there either.....

Yet you believe what Obama has SAID previously........sm
Did you believe when you heard him say (or have you heard him say) that he needed to start killing the expectations of his supporters now before he gets in office?  If you believe one iota of what this man has said, then obviously you do believe SOMETHING that you hve heard.

He's coming through loud and clear to me.
now it says goal. Previously it did not .
another web site (sorry, don't have link) had image copies of the before and after. I read them both.

According to the author, an American who has lived there for the last 4 years, there are issues, the most obvious a tax rate that seems crazy to us here (52%). However, as the article pointed out, that 52% includes social security (which we pay in addition to our taxes here), and there are no state and local taxes. Real estate taxes are lower. Mentally, the author states, it was a jaw-dropper when he first learned the tax rate, but it took little time for him to start having tangible benefit from that tax rate.

Frankly, after reading the article, it sounds as though the biggest problems with the Dutch system are coming from non-Dutch people moving in and complaining about a system that has worked for the natives for centuries.
I never posted previously that I was Christian. sm
You are mistaken.  Or is it Alzheimer's.  Time for beddie-bye gt.  You need some rest.  Think of lots of hateful vile things to say for tomorrow.  Nighty night.
BC issue, as presented previously...
The Supreme Court is currently working with a December 1st deadline by which time the DNC must comply with Berg's request for certriorari, Berg being the citizen responsible for the original suit in question.

A writ of certiorari is a writ, or order, sent from a higher court to a lower one which orders the lower court to turn over transcripts and documents related to a specific case for review. A writ of certiorari is one of the ways in which a high court can review a case. When a request for a writ of certiorari is submitted to a high court, clerks review it before passing it on to the justices. The justices vote on which cases will be granted writs. There are innumerable requests presented and relatively few are granted. Since the high courts are responsible for interpreting and defending national constitutions and the law, justices tend to grant writs for controversial cases, or cases which may set a precedent. Once a lower court has been served with a writ of certiorari, it must turn the requested material over to the higher court. After review, the justices offer a decision on the material, either affirming the decision of the lower court, or rejecting it. What this means is only that information regarding the original case has to be turned over. The higher court can rule further after reviewing the lower court decision on Berg's original case, which has already been denied by the lower court as Berg does not have standing to bring the suit. In effect, the birth certificate does not have to be presented on 12/1, only documents from Berg's original case. If the writ is granted, then the supreme court can decide whether Berg can proceed with the suit and then order the birth certificate to be produced.

The goal of those filing the original suit is to cast enough doubt that the electors may question the constitutionality of their vote, and as of now it is quoted that 24 potential Electors say they're filing suit demanding evidence of Obama eligibility. I do not know if this is again "slanted" info or fact. Electoral College Electors swear an oath to uphold the US Constitution. Voting for a presidential candidate, faced with compelling evidence that the candidate is not eligible to be president, would be a severe violation of constitutional law. Berg's pursuit of this writ is a cog, asking citizens to contact the members of the electorate from their state to voice any concerns on this issue asking them to demand proof of eligibility, with the assumption that people will believe that no original has been provided and failure to do so constitutes "compelling evidence" of ineligibility.

Here is my disclaimer 'cuz I sure do not want to be beaten up all night for this. I am just presenting another side to the question hopefully clarifying up some misinformation about the order to present an original birth certificate to the Supreme Court. I personally have a very difficult time with this whole thing. First of all, I believe this should have been settled prior to the election and the issue closed once the people voted. Secondly, I think it would be very dangerous for the electorate to vote differently than the populace such it would produce a different outcome to the presidential race, very dangerous!! I also find it difficult to believe that the Democratic party would have taken such a reckless chance as to choose a nominee someone not eligible to hold the office.

Gore had his presidency taken away by the Repub-stacked Supreme Court and went on to win a Nobel Peace Prize.  GW was handed the presidency and started a disastrous, pointless war.  Keep on keepin' on, my fellow Dems.  Our time is just over the horizon. Maybe this time the country will appreciate the wisdom of the Clinton presidency(ies).

I don't care what his views are or what he is.  What I do care about his what he teaches kids.  Sending them to his conservative website for homework in my opinion is way out of line.

Of course, this has nothing to do with the language used by the poster above, which is what I was talking about before you tried to change the subject, as usual.

Should be noted that this is not a scientific poll
It's one those click here to vote deals.  Not credible in the least.

That the mega-wealthy are trying to "hide" their wealth. Clothing catalogs for the rich are pushing "dressing down." Those fancy cars are getting garage duty. They did the same thing during the depression - no one drove their Duesenberg (sp?), i.e., "made to order" cars. They can sit out decades in relative comfort, they have high-tech security on their homes. Wouldn't it suck if we didn't dare venture out of our homes? What kind of "freedom" is that!!!!
