If cocaine and such were legal, the uses wouldn't have to turn to crime to get them - just spend their paycheck. The prices would be regulated, so the cost wouldn't be outrageous - heck, you could even have a legal meth lab right on the corner next to the Rite Aid.

Just seems the logical next step, so the question becomes not whether to legalize marijuana, but where to draw the line after that.
