No, we don't like the spending either; however, we are smart enough to realize it is necessary, as the alternative is to do as the GOP would suggest (which is nothing) and watch idly by as our economy spins into a full-blown depression.  What you don't seem to get is that this mess didn't happen overnight.  It was already in full swing during the last administration, and as usual, the dems have to do the dirty work to get our feet back on the ground while the rest of you sit around and whine about how its being fixed as opposed to coming up with any rational ideas to help the situation.  The thing is, (and what most of you don't seem to realize) the GOP proper doesn't give a rats butt about the general population and never have.  All they want is to be in power.  And in this case, their best chance of being in power again is an attempt to have this admin fail -- and to he!! with who gets run over in the meantime (that would be you and me).

I'm sure they appreciated all the teabagging done for their benefit.  But then, you don't even realize who that actually WOULD benefit.  You guys are like a herd of cattle just slowly and methodically walking to the slaughter house -- completely oblivious as to the outcome.

I think teabagging is a very appropriate term.  It not only defines those participants but also shows just how out of touch with the population the GOP really is by using such a term in the first place -- and yeah, they were the first to use it.  Look it up.  It's almost as pitiful as the 2M4M campaign.  Yeah, I would say you guys are completely out of touch with the majority of society in this country.

BTW, this was a GOP sponsored and sold (by Fox) event.  Just ask the libertarians -- they aren't too happy about it.
