Actually they blacked out

the actual shooting. You heard a gun but the screen was black. I think the intent of this was to show us how the Iraqis are following soldiers around and getting them in their sights and ambushing them. This was a very short segment and the motives were entirely different. We, the people, need to know what is going on. We can't believe what our administration says...they still think things are going splendidly. Nothing is televised, not even the return of the flag-draped coffins. So we had a few minutes of reality TV. It was sad and sobering and volatile but the motive, I believe, was not to exploit American soldiers for monetary gain. I do not think the two are the same at all. And, as an addendum, Fox promotes itself as having higher values than all other media...that is what really irks me. I still want to know who those sponsors are. Maybe there are all foreign-owned companies. I just cannot imagine any company being foolish enough to advertise on this tripe.

just my opinion, but the media is blacked out....
because information IS coming to light that might well exonerate as well as implicate. Last things the Dems want to happen on the eve of the election is their own hang'em high committee actually exonerating Bush. It is better to do the impeachment "exercise" and make a lot of noise about what he did or didn't do, keep the cloud of suspicion hovering until the election is over. Playing politics is all it is. If they were going to impeach him for real they could have done it when they took majority control. They don't have the goods. Who is going to impeach a President on the word of Vincent Bugilosi's book?? This is the kind of "witnesses" they are calling. The little excerpt I found about the CIA document that says that Joe Wilson's report actually agreed with what Bush said about Niger...now if that is true I can really understand why they want to keep it under wraps...because that is one of the biggest "lies" they think Bush concocted. What a coup that would be if that document were to come out. The "Bush lied" issue would be *poof*...gone. Yep, there are two sides to every story, and my thinking is they have it blacked out to keep the positive stuff out of public view as much as the negative stuff. Just my opinion...but it makes sense.
