my husband is a firefighter and has been in a union for over 30 years. Yeah, you get the occasional worker who doesn't do anything, but I can point out about 5 of those in my company (w/o a union) right off the top of my head. Corruption, greed and violence are not explicit to unions. That stuff happens everywhere, just look at the white house for the last 8 years. LOL.
