I tried pulling up your link but it directed me somewhere else and not sure what you were reading.
However Farrahkan says he is the messiah and most O lovers believe that so they must follow Farrahkan too.
As for alien? Maybe he was sent by illegal aliens, but you never know. If O was not an American born citizen and never even applied to become an American citizen, he may indeed be an illegal alien himself. Time will tell.

I haven't heard anyone besides me say .....sm
good grief Gertie in a LONG time! hahahaha
There is nothing there I haven't heard
As I said, if this guy is so horrid, there has to be more than the same tired opinions about him than we have heard repeatedly for the last 2 years. As you said, thousands of people agree with these opinions, but millions of people voted for Obama. I didn't, in part because I was convinced there was something that hadn't been dug up yet. Now, I am not so sure. Everyone keeps blowing smoke, but no one has found the fire. Maybe there just isn't one.
Details please. I haven't heard about this
It seems pretty odd that he's offering to help low-income Americans since it seems he's an America hater. Do you have an article or documented info to back this up? Not that I don't believe you, but I haven't seen anything about this. Thanks!
I haven't heard that one - will have to check it out
I just think if she's (HC) is out there and has decided she should be president and she doesn't care how the people voted so she's going to have a bunch of people march and disrupt the convention, then I think every candidate who ran against Obama should do the same thing. Hey, why not just have the whole US vote again, and again, and again, and again until she gets the results she wants. Last I knew this was a democracy not dictatorship. I know exactly what she is trying to do. She's trying to tear the democrat party apart so McCain will win then she can run again in 4 years. She's ruthless....and worthless.
I guess you haven't heard
Kenya is not part of the US.
This copy of a bc is not official and not real. I've also heard he also has a Canadian birth certificate.
You gave a link that led me to the LA times. That is not a credible source as they are trying to get him elected and are suppressing vital information (i.e. in the form of a videotap). They are part of the cover up.
If BO was born in Hawaii he would have an official bc. He does not! He can't produce one because he doesn't have one.
they may be lost (haven't heard that though), but
at least she doesn't blatantly stand there and say So what, your not going to get them and there's nothing you can do about.
Haven't heard that one yet - no message

You obviously haven't heard the audio or seen
it was put out by a black radio reporter. He wasn't being racist. He had a reporter out in Harlem, which is where his studio is, and was asking questions and he got some really ignorant answers. HE was making fun of them.
Why is it posters on this board who have been slammed by obvious racist remarks towards whites haven't complained but you seem to think something that wasn't racist but put out on an audio is racist?
You haven't heard about the sudden explosion
))
So did Joe Biden....and we haven't heard from him in awhile since.

I hadn't thought about it but we haven't heard much, if anything about whether we are yellow,
Haven't heard a word about Palin being "caught in the act." s/m
Funny, haven't heard of any crowds of 100,000+ like Obama.

Messiah
I read the article, it states that he makes a messiah joke, sort of like Clinton's reference in the primaries. I watched the Youtube video and I'm not convinced that that is the real Obama. Who made that video clip? The video clip looks like Obama (sort of) and the voice sounds like him (sort of) but the usual body language just isn't there. If this were true don't you think the McCain camp would have been all over it?
Messiah
I voted for Barack Obama, and I believe he is a tremendously intelligent and talented man. If I thought for one minute that he, like George W. Bush, for example, had regular personal conversations with God and God told him to start a frivolous war, I wouldn't have voted for him.
In fact, one of the many reasons I voted for him was because he DOESN'T act like some sort of Messiah. He's just a human being who wants America and Americans to prosper. He has not only acknowledged that problems exist in our country, he wants to correct them, whereas McCain thought the "fundamentals of the economy are strong," McCain's economics guy, Phil Gramm, called Americans a bunch of "whiners," McCain wanted to suspend the gas tax so it would have a good "psychological" effect on Americans, etc., etc., etc.
It seems to me that McCain is the one with the Messiah complex, considering he 's the only one who knows how to "get bin Laden." He's either waiting to trade bin Laden for the Presidency (country FIRST?) or he's told Bush how to "get him," and Bush hasn't wanted to "get him."
Either way, bin Laden is still running around the Afghanistan/Pakistan border (unless Benazir Bhutto was correct when she told David Frost that bin Laden had been murdered).
messiah?
What facts do you base your dire predictions on? When you continue to ascribe biblical proportions to President Obama's attributes, you cease to become believable. Sounds like sour grapes to me and not based on anything but your hate and bile. I like intelligent political discourse, but, Jesus Christ, this is just pious pus aimed at discrediting ANYTHING not within your limited range of logical thinking.

bush messiah
If anyone has a messiah complex I think it is George W. Bush. I haven't heard O tell anyone that God told him anything. Some of these posts on this board. I swear some would vote for Hitler if he ran as a Republican!!! Talk about sheep!
Messiah complexes
I had to laugh at the fact that Col. Oliver North (partners in crime with Reagan and the Iran-Contra fiasco) had the gall to 'write' such an article....that clown should have been court-marshialed and sent to Leavenworth for his part in the aforementioned fiasco...puleeeeze..
I'm not the one calling him the messiah........sm
Check out some of the Obama supporter web sites if you don't believe that his own people are calling him that, Louis Farrakan for one. Here is what Farrakan has to say.....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OowxMcVTjTE
Farrakan says: "You are the instruments that God is going to use to bring about universal change. And that is why Barack has captured the youth. And he has involved young people in a political process that they didn't care anything about. That's a sign. When The Messiah speaks, the youth will hear. And The Messiah is absolutely speaking."
He is being tauted as the messiah by many of his supporters. IF he were the messiah, he would be coming down from heaven on the clouds riding a white horse and wielding a sword. Read Revelation 19:11-16.
Didn't say that either. You are the messiah gal.

If after reading this email you disagree, Please, no need to reply back to me. Your opinion is yours and that's fine, just delete it. ******************************* A lot of Americans have become so insulated from reality that they imagine that America can suffer defeat without any inconvenience to themselves. Pause a moment, reflect back. These events are actual events from history.. They really happened!!! Do you remember? 1. 1968 Bobby Kennedy was shot and killed by a Muslim male extremist. 2. In 1972 at the Munich Olympics, athletes were kidnapped and massacred by Muslim male extremists. 3. In 1979, the US embassy in Iran was taken over by Muslim male extremists. 4. During the 1980's a number of Americans were kidnapped in Lebanon by Muslim male extremists. 5. In 1983, the US Marine barracks in Beirut was blown up by Muslim male extremists. 6. In 1985 the cruise ship Achille Lauro was hijacked and a 70 year old American passenger was murdered and thrown overboard in his wheelchair by Muslim male extremists. 7. In 1985 TWA flight 847 was hijacked at Athens , and a US Navy diver trying to rescue passengers was murdered by Muslim male extremists. 8. In 1988 , Pan Am Flight 103 was bombed by Muslim male extremists. 9. In 1993 the World Trade Center was bombed the first time by Muslim male extremists. 10. In 1998, the US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania were bombed by Muslim male extremists. 11. On 9/11/01 , four airliners were hijacked; two were used as missiles to take down the World Trade Centers and of the remaining two, one crashed into the US Pentagon and the other was diverted and crashed by the passengers. Thousands of people were killed by Muslim male extremists. 12. In 2002 the United States fought a war in Afghanistan against Muslim male extremists. 13. In 2002 reporter Daniel Pearl was kidnapped and murdered by-- you guessed it-- Muslim male extremists.. No, I really don't see a pattern here to justify profiling, do you? So, to ensure we Americans never offend anyone, particularly fanatics intent on killing us, airport security screeners will no longer be allowed to profile certain people... Absolutely No Profiling! They must conduct random searches of 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, secret agents who are members of the President's security detail, 85-year old Congressmen with metal hips, and Medal of Honor winner and former Governor Joe Foss, but leave Muslim Males alone lest they be guilty of profiling. According to The Book of Revelations: The Anti-Christ will be a man, in his 40s, of MUSLIM descent, who will deceive the nations with persuasive language, and have a MASSIVE Christ-like appeal....the prophecy says that people will flock to him and he will promise false hope and world peace, and when he is in power, he will destroy everything. And Now: For the award winning Act of Stupidity Of all times the People of America want to elect, to the most Powerful position on the face of the Planet -- The Presidency of the United states of America ... A Male of Muslim descent who is the most extremely liberal Senator in Congress (in other words an extremist) and in his 40s. Have the American People completely lost their Minds, or just their Power of Reason ??? I'm sorry but I refuse to take a chance on the 'unknown' candidate Obama... Let's send this to as many people as we can so that the Gloria Aldreds and other stupid attorneys along with Federal Justices that want to thwart common sense, feel ashamed of themselves -- if they have any such sense. As the writer of the award winning story 'Forrest Gump' so aptly put it, 'Stupid Is As Stupid Does' Each opportunity that you have to send it to a friend or media outlet....do it! or again. . just delete if you disagree.
Okay, I guess the messiah does not lie after all.
LOL
Obama the Messiah
amazes me with his stupidity. He is now saying that he wants less regulation when it comes to unions. Uhh....didn't he learn anything when the pubs deregulated things and then everything blew up in our faces. Besides, unions are a huge part of why our auto industry is failing right now so why in the world would you give them more control and less regulations? Oh...but I forgot....unions are democrat backers. How could I forget such an important thing as that? Makes me sick!!!
She can drop the messiah off in Chicago along the way...

see inside for definition of messiah -
Mes·si·ah (m-s)
n.
1. also Mes·si·as (m-ss) The anticipated savior of the Jews.
2. also Messias Christianity Jesus.
3. messiah One who is anticipated as, regarded as, or professes to be a savior or liberator.
It is not really all that scary if you look at all 3 meanings and choose one!

And that's just the tip of this iceberg (Pflager, Rezko, Wright, etc.).
So you are mumping now from the messiah smear
There is nothing in your characterization of Obama's position on small business that remotely resembles and accurate statement. Not only can you not hear, you obviously can't read either.
Obama and Biden have posted an extremely detailed plan in the Blueprint for Change that describes very creative and innovative ways in which small businesses will be supported and encouraged. The tax cuts and who will benefits can also be found there. I see noting in McCain's plan that compares.

When Leaders Get Messiah Complexes
Thursday, October 23, 2008
By Col. Oliver North
Washington, D.C. On Wednesday this week, I was an unwilling eyewitness to a dramatic political event and it made me wonder where we are headed as a nation. More on that in a moment. First, a little background.
There is no doubt that leadership matters. The study of human history provides evidence that empires even entire civilizations rise and fall on the ideas, virtues and skills of great leaders. From Mesopotamia to the European continent, those who chronicled the triumphs and failures of great leaders in the Western world measured success based on military prowess and territory conquered. Herodotus detailed how the Persian Empire, built by Darius, eventually succumbed to Alexander the Great in the 5th Century B.C. That vision of leadership began to change in what is now Israel.
Old Testament prophets described a Messiah in Aramaic, měshīhā a leader a savior who would deliver the Jewish people from their travails. For more than two millennia, Christians have believed that the Messiah is Jesus of Nazareth and that at the appointed time he will come again in triumph. Unfortunately, in the modern era there have many other leaders who perceived that they had messianic qualities that only they could provide.
Napoleon, in the aftermath of the bloody French Revolution, described himself as "essential" to the future of France and was appointed dictator. The aftermath was a disaster for his countrymen and much of Europe.
Adolf Hitler was elected by the German people and then given absolute power because he claimed that only he could "preserve the Aryan race." The result was a global conflagration that resulted in the death of more than 25 million.
More recently from Idi Amin in Uganda, to Pol Pot in Cambodia, Kim Jung IL in Korea and Robert Mugabe in Zimbabwe all have "led" their people to perdition after describing themselves as the only men capable of leading their populations through difficult times. Yet, all their people were ultimately worse off.
It is notable that until the 20th century, the American people managed to avoid selecting leaders who held messianic self-esteem. Neither George Washington nor Abraham Lincoln arguably two of this nation's greatest leaders through the toughest crises in our history described themselves in such terms. In fact, the record of what they said and wrote is replete with humility.
Not until Franklin Delano Roosevelt decided in 1940 that our country needed his "seasoned leadership," did any U.S. president even contemplate a third successive term in office. While FDR rose to become a great wartime leader, there is also little doubt that he amassed far more power in the office of chief executive than any of his predecessors. Roosevelt's authority was so great that his successor, Harry Truman, the modest man from Missouri, saw fit to endorse a constitutional amendment limiting presidents to two terms.
Given America's history of limiting executive power in government if by no other means than term limits it is interesting to note how much hope some people now vest in such office. And it's not just the presidency.
New York City, where FOX News Channel is headquartered, has a public law limiting the mayor to a tenure of two terms. Despite this ordinance, Mayor Michael Bloomberg, citing the current "economic crisis," insists that he should have a third stint in office. Though he was once a believer in term limits he now claims that, "Given the enormous challenges we face, I don't want to walk away from a city I feel I can help lead through these tough times."
That's messianic thinking. But apparently the Big Apple isn't the only place it's happening.
During Wednesday afternoon's rush hour, I was making my way home on the "Dulles Greenway" when a phalanx of police motorcycles and cruisers stopped all traffic and ordered us to pull our vehicles off the highway onto the shoulders. Over a loudspeaker we were told to stay put until the Obama campaign convoy passed, on the way to a rally in Leesburg, Virginia.
Instantly, hundreds of people were out of their cars. Directly in front of me a group of supporters evident by their bumper-stickers jumped out with cameras, cell-phones and banners. They began chanting: "The Messiah! He's coming! Obama is coming!" The shouting only intensified as the candidate and his entourage motorcycles, police cars, black Secret Service Suburbans and busses roared past us.
What I found so disturbing was seeing so many of my countrymen who apparently think or believe or hope that the next president of the United States will save us from ourselves. Senator Obama has said we can not, "Wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for." He would do well to remember that unfulfilled expectations are the greatest cause of anger on the planet. That's true whether it is between a husband and wife, students and teacher, employers and employees, or leaders and the led. He might also recall that humility is a virtue that has distinguished our greatest leaders.
What all this means to the future of this republic, I don't know. I'm a military historian, not a prophet. But I do know the first name of the Messiah. It's not Mike. And it isn't Barack, either.
Oliver North hosts War Stories on FOX News Channel and is the author of the new best-seller, "American Heroes: In The War Against Radical Islam." He has just returned from assignment in Afghanistan.

ANTICHRIST? See what I mean....messiah slur
Desperation at its most extreme. Pathetic.
What he IS is a tool; not a uniter, not the messiah, not even up to the job...nm

Another Obama day.. Another Dow tank.. Where's your messiah now?
We are going to he-- in a handbasket.
AMEN!!!!! Obama is no messiah sm
but the REAL Messiah is coming soon!
Is there a female gender for the word Messiah?
Garners Pope's Undying Gratitude" and suddenly equating a candidate with their Savior has become perfectly politically correct.
Bottom line here. O does not claim to be messiah
Anybody who subscribes to such nonsense on any level whatsoever is the one who is confused.....VERY confused.
Rush Limbaugh, hardly the Messiah of the Rep. party.
I agree with a lot of things he says, but just like the dems don't like to have Obama put forth as thier Messiah, I know pubs don't like to have anyone named that way - not Rush, not Newt, not anyone. And him being addicted to drugs at one point in his life has nothing to do with it. Clinton was a lying, cheating womanizer and looks like the majority of the dems got over that one!
You just have to put certain things in perspective, that's all.
Ditto, good post. Not a Messiah follower either!! nm

Louis Farrakhan Declaration of Obama as the Messiah?
http://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/p-j-gladnick/2008/10/09/will-msm-report-louis-farrakhan-declaration-obama-messiah
How do you know they haven't?
That's the whole point. Bush acts like a dictator in complete privacy. Of course nobody can name names because this president thinks he can spy on whoever he wants without ever telling the person.
The sooner they impeach him, the safer this country will be.
No I haven't
but I'll try to remember to check it out.
At church last week our preacher had just gotten up to preach and he had just told us to turn to a Bible verse. So we all looked down to turn to the verse and when we looked up he was gone. Apparently he had stepped through the side door to go get a drink of water. Of course he came back out two minutes later, but someone made the joke that the rapture had come and he was the only one taken. It was pretty funny. Of course if it had really happened we'd have all of been with him (well hopefully, as I'm sure you know there are people in church who aren't really Christians!)
No, I haven't but
I'm seriously considering it...on a local level, of course, where I'm qualified. If I were younger............
I haven't seen that but I have seen others
There are just some very strange people in this country who think nothing of putting themselves on youtube giving their opinions (no matter what the subject). In today's world I would never ever put my face out for all to see stating my opinion. On this board is one thing (and even then I'm always concerned about what I post and who is watching it), but sometimes it's best to keep ones feelings to oneselves, especially if it is negative. The thought police are out there and you just never know what will come back at you for the worst.
I haven't seen her lately
When the election was going on (still when Hillary was running against Obama) and even shortly after the primaries ended I really enjoyed her. I thought she was level headed and brought out some good discussions and issues, but then towards the end of the election (maybe a couple weeks before 11/4) I found her starting to become opinionated and she jumped down someones throat about something that I thought she was clearly wrong on. She just became irritating and got under my skin a bit. I also really used to like Keith Olberman, but his coverage of the election was so unfair and between Keith and Rachel I just found them opinionated and not reporting facts and stuff so I kind of lost interest. Maybe I should try watching them again. It's funny about Hannity and Colmes. I cannot stand Hannity. He's just too uppity and goody two shoes and even D Morris would tell him stop focusing on certain issues and report on the other important ones and he doesn't listen. He annoys the you know what out of me. But Colmes...this guy is a crack up. I used to not be able to stand him. Now I enjoy listening to him. I don't agree with a lot of what he says, but I'll listen. I can take him a lot more than the others because he doesn't gloat about the O winning whereas the others do.
So I'll have to catch her show again and see if she's gotten better. Thanks for reminding me about her.
I'll tell you...if Bush is able to pardon himself....I think there is going to be a huge uproar. Mind as well just let the criminals decide what punishment they should get.
I haven't seen that.........sm
and don't know when it was made, but you can bet your bottom dollar that at the time it was made, that statement was probably meant to be comic relief. The average US citizen would have laughed at such a statement prior to this presidential election.
sorry, no they haven't......
There is tons of pork barrel in that package. Even the moderate democrats are sickened by all the crap in there and refuse to pass it. Obama must have forgotten the part where he said absolutely no pork barrel spending! Yea, right!
I haven't seen any
poll takers out asking mainstream America their opinion, only the fabricating media and perverted judges telling us how wonderful homosexuality is. The rest of America finds the act of homosexuality deplorable. ;-)
Really? You haven't?
Just to take the first point: How about a speech he gave in 2008 which he criticized the US because most of us speak one measly language, while Europeans often speak 2 or 3? There is actually a pretty good reason for that, by the way. A person could drive in Europe a distance equal to the trip from Cincinnati to Chicago and pass through several countries. Some countries even have several dialects. Many European countries are tiny. Being multilingual in Europe is very practical. America is huge and people a couple of thousand miles away can understand one another in a single language, from youse guys to y'all.
I don't remember ever hearing a US president or presidential candidate publicly criticize his country the way this one has (well, maybe Kerry). And of course our foreign critics simply lap it up. I think Michelle Obama has some foreign language skills, but I've got to wonder in what second and third languages Barack himself is fluent. Surely he must be.....
I was unable to find the full text/location/date of the speech I am referring to, but here's a link to an article on it. Sorry, it does seem to be an piece that is overall critical of the great man, but then the mainstream would probably not have mentioned this at all
http://www.libertylounge.net/forums/32918-obama-again-shows-how-out-touch.html
Oh, by the way, no spam file, I wrote it. Whether or not you find it witty, it's the way I view O's public criticism of the US, as though we are a collection of bumpkins he's stuck with and trying desperately to fix up.
Hey! Haven't seen you in a while...nm
x
What makes you think they haven't.
/
I haven't been here that long but
long enough to see clearly how immaturely they operate. PHEW!
Then you haven't been listening.
I have seen at least four conservatives express concerns about Bush on several occasions, and they even elucidated them. Of course, you would have to take off those blinders to see them but you aren't about to do that. What a joke. As far as your remarks about racisms, I consider your remarks extremely racist. And never mind the fact that black Americans, one of whom was quoted here, are also defending Bennett. Their voices don't count because they must be Uncle Tom's, right. AGAIN, a racist way of thinking.
