I have a friend who is an ACLU lawyer and from what he can tell me, seems the ACLU does quite a bit good for this country and *the underdog*. Sure there are some things I shake my head at, things I dont agree with, but thank God for the ACLU. Whom else can a person who does not have the big bucks like corporate America turn to when so wronged. I would rather have an America with the ACLU than without it.

I've followed some of the cases that ACLU sticks their nose in and to know that they are somehow sm
linked to the Democratic Party scares me. I do not see how they could defend NAMBLA if they are exploiting children. It's a disgrace to say the least.

I am not talking about displaying a cross on a wall or behind a podium at an assembly, because that is not what your original post inferred. You said that the ACLU would go to court to prevent a person from WEARING a cross. Last I heard, there is no problem with children wearing crosses to school. Am I missing something here? Please cite the case you were referring to. I am trying to understand what you were talking about. What is your point, exactly?
