Unbelievable, it's hard to get everyone to edit the same way. No it's not hard it just requires good management which it seems your company is lacking! I've been an Editor and I've been an MT and have been working for 3 years now. In my current position we get audited periodically and I ride the auditors. I see godawful mistakes all the time. My suggestion would be to a) get a copy of the AAMT Book of Style, b) keep your account specifics handy at all times, c) make a list of favorite websites that have tons of info and d) document every time these items are edited a different way.
If you find that something is supposed to be a certain way according to the AAMT BOS or a website, politely point this out to your manager with a page number and/or link and ask that the editor be informed. We're all human which is why we only are required to make 98% accuracy but when people start changing things that are correct to things that aren't and can't be bothered to help out new MTs and give them a straight answer I start having a problem. Feel free to also ask on this board if you have an instance like this.
