In Reply to: kind of unbelievable, isn't she? lol - lol
what is really funny is that she has posted using several monikers and gave contradictory information about how long she has been working. She repeatedly states she started her job in October...now it is January...isn't that less than 6 months as she was leading others to believe her OTJ experience is? Maybe I just don't know how to count, though!
She also expressed her appreciation on an initial post when I gave her sound advice to stay where she was until she got her skill set stabilized and productivity up before changing jobsm but you see how that sunk in. I think it would be more helpful if she had taken the four-year course instead getting that "associate degree" in two! No, it wouldn't have helped.

I have been researching different schools and home courses and was getting confused which one to join, I was leading toward the AHP courses, now I am scared after reading all your reply's. I glad you asked about AHP or I would have never known.
THANKS, I don't want to waist my time or money.
Need some pick me uppers!!
I am a newbie that just started working last week. I am having a hard time. To the point where I just started crying today! I love looking this stuff up, typing, medical language but ughhhhh I am struggling with hearing drugs. Please tell me this will get better. My boss is giving me more work because she thinks I am doing pretty good. If she only knew how long it takes me to get these reports done. Please someone give me advice or some pick me uppers.
Thank you for pick me uppers!

pick up the pace
There is a great book called "Saving Keystokes." I bought it on Amazon. I have been transcribing for almost 30 years and just found this book last year. I figured I had hit my max quite a while ago and was satisfied with my line counts, thought I was using Expanders extensively and appropriately, but this book has really helped me increase my line count even more.
what if you offered to pick up your check from them?
