Thanks for the input guys. The hospitals around here all hire within the facility and most of the doctor's offices are such mom n pop businesses that since I wasn't born with the right last name, there's no hope of getting in. I have applied at one hospital about an hour away in a larger city, but I'm not going to sit and wait by the phone. I have thought about taking the Medical Coding/Billing Certificate Course where I just completed the MT course. I've already got part of what I would have to take, but I'm just wondering if I should go ahead and get into an LPN program instead of taking the coding and billing course. I'm just getting really discouraged.
