In hospitals in Michigan it ranges from $12.30 to $16.65 an hour.

Their Pay Scale
is too low! Starting rate is 0.055cpl for transcription and VR is 0.0125 cpl. Both are below industry standard. I don't think you should ever settle for less than you deserve, and if you graduated from a respectable school, you deserve more! The industry standard is 6cpl and 3cpl for VR. These are the MINUMUMS for a reason. You should never accept less. I would suggest you continue to test with other companies and as soon as a better offer comes along, jump on it. The pay in this industry is dropping because of companies like MRecord that jump on new grads like fresh meat, are really nice to them, and then pay them crumbs.

I am considering webmedx but wondering how much they pay.
I have 10 years experience doing all work except cardiology.
Does WEBMEDX pay by the line? If so how much a line and what character amount, i.e. 65 character line
what is the average line count for an MT using WEBMEDX?
