Thanks so much to all who replied about my eye strain question. Now I have another one for all the helpful people out there...
I still would like to persue a career with medical transcription, but there is one nagging question from my skeptical husband. When/if you are hired by a company, large or small, are you considered an employee or an independant contractor? I need to know this for tax purposes. Or, is each situation different that would have to be worked out with each company?
