I've seen talk on there of several companies that hire new grads.
I actually got hired at MQ right out of school - but it was a much different company then. I worked there for 3-1/2 years and bailed when the first signs of sinking occured. 
I honestly only have experience with them and the company I'm currently at - and I don't think my current one hires new grads. Check out the company board though and I'm sure you'll find a company that will make you much happier than MQ could.

I have an odd request.
I have posted on this board at different times and appreciate all the comments and contributions made by MTs who are trying to help each other. As a newbie, I have both good days and bad (more bad) and a lot of frustration thrown in the mix.
I would really appreciate the prayers of other Christian MTs out there - just for peace. Only MTs can understand the struggles that a newbie goes through in this field. Your loved ones and friends, try as they might, just do not get it. They assume you have it made since you stay at home (doing nothing), and type on a computer every once in awhile. They do not understand the ups and downs the field brings. The frustration you feel when there is no one to help. And the how alone you feel when they look at you at wonder "what do you have to be upset about".
I truly want to be a great MT. I know there is still a great deal to learn, and the learning never stops. I just need to be able to get over the hump, not take QA to heart, and be able to learn from my mistakes in a positive manner.
Your prayers would be appreciated.

Any company that charges anything to work is not a reputable company. However,
if a company offers a job and requires that you have a certain pedal and offers to provide it and then take it out of say your first paycheck or couple of paychecks, then that is acceptable.
My belief is that companies that charge you for software or anything else is trying to make money off of you.
While $11.95 isn't much, figure that amount times 10 or 20 or 100 and what do you come up with? Smells like a scam to me.
company was sold so they have no company to hire you after graduation!
They are not a reputable school and I went there so I should know. Even when they did have Trans. Relief Services they never answered my email about employment upon graduation.

don't believe all that you read on this board.
I have worked for Medquist for a few years, and I think they are a great company to work for. There have been a few bumps in the road, but they hear the MT's and are trying to correct them. The pay is good, and the platform is excellent.

Do you know what I think is really funny? When newbies (me)ask where we can find a job that hires new graduates and we are told to check the job seeker's board! Have you checked it lately?? 2-5 years experience and NEW GRADUATES need not apply! How do we get experience? with pay??

I am sorry but to me that is a load of you know what!! I worked just as hard as anyone and I am sick of hearing how I should of went to Andrews or M-tech whatever!!! I worked my butt off for along time and I would just like a chance to prove what I have learned! who cares what school I went to? Sometimes it has to do with the student don't you think?
