Some new MTs prefer to work for an employer. No, 5 cpl, is not starting at the top of the payscale, but anyone first breaking into a profession usually does not make senior partner on their first day. Also, not all MTs attend these supposed three most reputable schools you are referring to, and I do not believe that just because someone was not trained at these schools does not mean they were not properly trained. I was simply pointing out to new MT grads that Medquist is hiring. If they choose not to work there, then so be it. Do without then..... and keep posting hoping someone will tell them which companies hire newbies. As far as I can tell from all of the ads on this board, not too many hire newbies...... So, I was simply steering them to a company that does currently hire newbies. It is the holiday season and maybe a newbie might just want to get their feet wet. Not all newbies will start out making 7 cpl or more....... Please step back a little and look at reality. Reality is not TOP OF THE LADDER at this point. Even experienced MTs are making 7 cpl to start. Please have some mercy.............
