Mary, you should investigate the companies that partner with each school
for example, SETT partners with Healthscribe. Because that would be where you would have the advantage to work.
"Healthscribe allows SETT graduates to sign up for the online testing immediately upon graduation instead of requiring the usual 2 years of medical transcription acute-care experience."
So if you are thinking you want to work at Healthscribe, choose SETT. If you are thinking you want Spheris, then choose the school that works with Spheris. You may want to choose the company first, then go with the school that partners with the company.
