TASP - Transcription Application Service Provider.
They usually help you going digital, provide HIPAA compliant online Voice (digital recording, storing, FTP, real time internet enabled delivery of voice files from your clients to you) and Text (online platforms for your MTs to transcribe in just as I am typing this message. These platforms have built in Expanders, Spell Checkers, Invoicing etc etc. Your Clients can access the same platform to get real time reports being transcribed by your MTs.) Solutions.
and they cost an awful lot. TASP's are redundant services for...
MT's who can't figure it out on their own. Why pay forever for files being sent over the Internet when you can get your own software to do it and just pay once?
