Stiff fingers

I use SoftFlex Computer gloves. You can order them on-line. I think they were about $25.00. They are stretch-nylon flexible gloves that have two parallel cushions to protect your medial nerve from damage. They offer just a touch of support and my hands also stay warm, amazingly. Is there a draft in the room where you are working? Is there a way to stop the draft? Other options might be to work with a heating pad on your lap. I have done that. It warms your arms and therefore your hands. To avoid tightness of my neck/shoulder/arms, I also work out with light weights in my off hours. Really helps avoid tension knots and fatigue, and probably improves circulation. Take up walking to protect your back. Just some ideas to keep you healthy through your career.

stiff hands
I just started working full time about 3 wks ago. I have never spent this many hours per week typing before. I am trying to maintain good ergonomics and technique, but I know I am not doing it all of the time.
My fingers, especially the ring and pinkie fingers on my left hand, are getting stiff. I have only been working for about 1.5 hours so far today and they are stiffening up already. It amazes me that with all of the work my fingers are doing, they are cold too. I feel like the stiffness is affecting my typing.
Can anyone recommend a good way to stretch to resolve this, or anything to prevent this?
Thanks so much!
Just laugh and keep your fingers X
Not laughing at you, but with you. What you put down is just so funny! That's the real world for ya! You just never know when it's going to slip in there.
Keeping my fingers crossed for you! I don't like your job either! LOL!! Remember me from the cpl comparison?
