There are indeed PLENTY of MT jobs! Just look at the job board here and anywhere else! PLENTY.
The people who are complaining about no jobs are people who are not getting the offers THEY WANT. That's all it is.
Contact the AHDI directly for the stats you want - I bet they do have that information.
I've been in this business more than 25 years and I have seen the same attitude this entire time: The chronic complainers are those who feel their skills are worth more money, even though they know the limits of the industry and they cannot even demonstrate good skill sets. They also tend to complain about everything else in their life, too. So, take the complaining with a grain of salt.
Look at the number of job openings, the amount of recruiting from larger companies (bigger than mom-and-pop organizations), etc.
There are plenty of jobs!
