Cheap and incompetent.
I spoke with an Indian MT recently. This person works six days a week and eight hours a day and makes $40/month Indian money, which is about $500/month American money. I think that says it all! Oh, and this person asks questions that a student might ask and is an editor. Makes me feel very safe in my job actually. American MTs are some of the hardest working people I know. We are not lazy. We are fed up with getting paid beans while the MTSOs suck the life out of us!
as in your insinuation that I am incompetent.

Heartland employee

Hello, I am not a Heartland employee, but I did take their test and passed with a 92. They said at the time that their training class was full  and as soon as they had an opening for training, that they would get in touch with me. I have not heard from them and that has been two months. I am a CareerStep grad. Wanda

they might. but then again they might be Heartland employees and
be laid off. All 150 of their US MT's were let go. Without warning. Without severance packages. Now Heartland only has Indian MT's. Does that sound scary? It should.
OSI, Heartland Mentoring Programs
Just wondering if anyone has heard of these mentoring programs. I, too, am finding it hard to get a job with no experience. Are these programs worth it? Has anyone out there gone through these? Please give some friendly advice!
Heartland mentors are the worst around...
very rude and unorganized. I highly do not recommend them.
Are there any happy Heartland employees out there?
t
will not - not if you're competent. If you're incompetent they will fire you anyway
