QA consistency

I'm a newbie MT working 1 month and keep hearing that I need to build up my confidence. I go over my QA reviews every day and find that there isn't a lot of consistency in how my reports are edited--I've seen the same thing edited 4 different ways by 4 different editors! I've spoken to my mentor and one of the transcription managers but no one seems to think it's a big deal, more like, oh well, it's hard to get everyone to edit the same way. Needless to say this is making me hypoconfident and driving me crazy! Any advice??
