...the school you went to did not do a good enough job. There is a difference between schools and many different ways to teach MT. In order to get a job (at home especially) you need very in-depth schooling and lots of practice along with a great teacher correcting your work and one who is able to answer questions. Why wouldn't it make sense that companies want to choose someone who can be put on any account, easy or difficult, who will not be leaving tons of blanks or making a bunch of mistakes? You can be a very smart person, but if your training is not as good as someone just as smart as you then they will pick the one with the better training.
