"Regular pay"
Regular pay means the same pay as they would give an MT who had experience. It might be their entry-level pay rate, but it won't be a training wage, or half-pay, or 2 cents a line, or work-for-free-to-get-experience, or a "mentoring program."

They get a regular job with the same pay everybody else gets. The only difference is that they're a little slower than an experienced MT, but they gain speed quickly and soon close the gap.
