accept that you are probably never going to be at the high end of the food chain in the MT world, mostly because for every person like you who refuses to have personal/family time take a back seat while you are establishing yourself in this industry, there are 2 people who are willing to make that sacrifice because they are breadwinners for the household.  I know that when my bills need to be paid, the only income that will pay them is mine--therefore I will be on the system as much as I can to catch all the work I can.

Really, unless you have a spouse who provides most of the income at your house, this field allows no one the luxury of dictating to any business owner or supervisor what they will and will not do. The people who want to demand this and that from their company usually end up with the short end of the stick.

Survival of the fittest.  That's who gets on top in this biz.
