Migraine

When I used to get migraines, I became extremely sensitive to loud sounds - sounds like your problem may be more in processing though (i.e., brain working "fuzzily") rather than hearing - which is also what I used to experience with migraines!

Can an impending migraine affect hearing?

I am working on a familiar dictator, non esl, who has a funny manner of speaking but I had gotten used to it.  I am getting soo many blanks with him right now.  About 5-10 times more than I ever do with him.  I am considering throwing in the towel tonight and sleeping on it to see if it is my headache that feels suspiciously like it is going to blow up into a migraine. I have had this headache off and on most of the past 2 days and an Aleve tonight did not kill it.

I am just wondering if it could be affecting the fine tuning of my hearing that allows me to discern the unclear parts.

Regardless, I am going to go back to it for a bit and then stop.  The throbbing is now bilateral.
