Wow! Now I know where to send the saved web pages of the reports you posted yesterday! You still haven't learned anything! LOL! send it to me then but you better take off "sensitive information" or everyone else on this board will scream at you that I could be a stalker. pls send details pls send me ur MT classifieds details though my email address.i am waiting for ur kind reply is it ok to send out resume or best to drop off one?nm . Send in resumes and test everywhere that will allow it. I applied to several places while I was a student, and some places will allow you to test even though they say they require 2 years experience. Some will waive the 2 year experience requirement if you have graduated from a medical transcription training program. I found a job at home while in school, so it's not impossible but it does take some time. Good luck! Call them or send them your resume sounds like you don't have much of a choice - or if you are employee - take your unemployment and start your own job search Did you send followup emails? sm I have heard that sometimes it helps. I am on my third job since I graduated this summer. The first company I left because it was VR, and I just couldn't work fast enough to make any money at 4 cpl. The second job I had lost the account I worked on and had to let me go. I have been with my third company for a month now, and they have had so many issues with their software that I didn't work all last week. I haven't worked for more than 2 days in a row without any problems. I am now on the job search again because I can't rely on these people and they will just not return my emails for days on end. I probably sent out 10-15 resumes and applications before anyone responded back. All of the jobs offers I received had required 3 to 5 years of experience, so don't be afraid to apply to those. Good luck! I know how disappointing it is to spend hours taking a test and not even get a reply.
I send my wav. files back and Encrypt them x But don't send your resume. It has personal information on it. Right Misha? LOL, gotcha! Post your resume on all the various job boards, send resumes to local clinics/doctor's offices, apply to local hospitals. As a newbie getting a job is hard, but some companies will hire you based on the school you got your certificate from. Some schools are better than others and if you didn't get your certificate from one of the better ones changes are harder of getting a job. Most likely you'll need to work in-house for a while. There are some companies that will offer you a job, many at low to no pay, and there are a few companies that are not legit, so be sure you investigate before accepting. If you have to fork out any money for equipment or software in order to get the job be cautious, especially if they require you to purchase it from them. Search the boards and send out resumes, and review your grammar and punctuation s Thanks! Turns out they forgot to send me the info containing the phone number to call!! Got it now. Thanks again. Sent you an email. nm s I sent you an email (nm) xx email sent to you email me Hi Lisa, Email me directly please. I sent you an email. nm I sent you an email nm. Email me, I might be able to help you. email 'em admin@mtstars.com goldbird@mtstars.com those are 2 I know of I replied to your email (nm) :) Nicole, I sent you an email (nm) :) Email attachment You should have a button where you compose your email to attach files. Click on that and it will take you to a window where you can browse files. Click on that and select where your file is (desktop, folder, computer, etc.) then open the file you want to attach and your computer will do the rest, very easy once you do it once. Your computer walks you through it most of the way. I just learned how to do it myself, all by myself!;) Good luck, and if you need more help, just ask. :) I did email the owner a couple of weeks ago and asked her if I was doing okay. She said to keep doing what I am doing because I am doing just fine. That was before I noticed that they were all looking at my reports. I really like this company, and the people are all very nice. I guess I just need to talk to the owner again before I have an anxiety attack over this. Thank you. Here I am. See if clicking my email here s Responded by email I responded by email now to both of you. Hopefully, I will hear from both of you tomorrow. Thanks! Elaine, please email me. sm edgeofthewoodz@comcast.net Thanks for the email diz. YES; even walnuts! . So if I had to do an encrypted email, could I do that from yahoo, etc? re: googling their email addy I googled it and got nothing. It was a rather generic gmail address, which was another flag. Well, I emailed them with a few questions about the training (whether it was paid, local and guaranteed employment) and guess I will see. Something more promising is available through the job office of the local tech school where I did a certificate - $10/hr (that is good here) for MT, working at home, and grads from the program I took (med coding - though it was not very throrough on the coding end of things) are allowed to apply. Guess they aren't that picky? But hey, if it is offered, I will take it! I am putting in for that tonight via email and see if the job office will refer me to the employer. Thanks for your opinion. If they email back I will let you know what they said. Do you have an email? I'm a new MT dying for work!!! so glad to find an MT placement person and you came to the rite board!! Please, what is your company and how do I get ahold of you??!! Just checked email, didn't see it Thanks for the email. I just checked my email and did not see anything. I will keep looking, maybe there is a server delay or something. I really do want to know the real deal before taking the leap. Thanks. I am the person, who sent the email. I am a mentor. sm I have had some challenges with interns, some requiring longer internships than others. Other newbies have breezed right through. I average the time from 3-4 months. You are given a variety of family practice and specialty clinic work. You must meet 97% accuracy in medical terminology, medications, grammar and formatting before referral for contract is made. You will be contracted beginning at 7 cpl. When you graduate, you take a doctor with you, one you have mastered and will get lines immediately. I assure you this is a legitimate internship. You also receive new terms weekly. -Jade newbiemommt, please email me directly...sm edgeofthewoodz@comcast.net Please do not post email addresses. NM I graduated the beginning of Nov. Email me if you like. nm xx If you are an MT employee or MT employer pls EMAIL ME! I need all the help i can get. I'm submitting my package to get into the MT program by the end of June 2009 and the only thing I haven't completed is the informational interview. I have to ask 3 MT employees and 3 MT employers a few questions about this line of work and I'll be able to get my package processed and hopefully get into the program right away. I am on maternity leave and it's difficulty for me to leave the house and search for people. Please help me out so I can get into this program and finally make something of myself that I can be proud of. Thanks everyone who has taken the time to read this. My email is carpio_cat@hotmail.com there are email addresses on the SETT website in case you wanted some testimonials. There's an MT recruiter below who has been placing more MT's than ever. Contact her for email. x We can discuss this via email if you would like but the software was never free. nm xx |
