I just went through this transition from the micro and standard cassettes to digital. My company just bought a digital recorder and I bought an infinity wave pedal and I transcribe them through Express Scribe, which is a free download.
You might want to look up www.transcriptiongear.com and they sell recorders, pedals, and everything else. They could also answer any further questions since that is what they specialize in. Hope this helps.
