It will get better!!

I promise you, it will get better.  I have been doing this for about 13 months now, and when I first started, I felt the same way.  I always took a doctor who mumbled like crazy, and I always left tons of blanks and it would take me forever to type and proofread.  Then, once I was done proofreading I would still have blanks!  That happened for awhile and I could see the progression of it getting better and better.  Now I take him, and I rarely miss what he says.  I love typing for him now - it's almost easy to type for him now.  You have to give it time.  It will be that way with meds too - after a year, I encounter a drug I haven't heard of about 30% of the time instead of 90% of the time when I first started.

Hang in there!!  You'll be glad you did.
