do some research on here as to which companies are good with newbies as I'm not the best person to ask, unfortunately. Sorry I can't help you there. The company I work for has a really great training program and I haven't had any issues when asking questions, even if they felt silly. From what I've read, I think some QA do get a swamped and overwhelmed with questions, so maybe they're not always the most forthcoming with assistance. Perhaps some others will comment on your question and be able to better help.
