It's about the OP. Your advice would be fine 7 or so years ago. She can take that advice, and it may or may not work. If she goes to a school like M-Tec or Andrews she WILL get a job. I don't think it matters because she just wants to do it on the side and take the RMT without training. Not going to happen. Either way, I don't think she's even around anymore.
So nurses out there can try, and maybe get an in-house job. If you want to take the RMT you need classes and good ones at that to pass. Again, it is rare to have training on the job these days. The companies want to hire peolpe who already know MT, not just nursing.
