They are mostly the cranky old wenches from the Medquist board. ;)

I'm not sure about this "pre-school" counseling, but I can tell you that I was very happy with Career Step, I landed a job right out of school and have even changed companies and had no problem with testing or anything.  I was even promoted to QA much quicker than most people are - with no medical background before going through Career Step.  I think it's a good program and as long as you've done some reading up on the profession and what it entails, and know that is what you want, CS is a fine choice for your schooling needs.
