people who have also filed with the BBB and FTC? How about articles in national magazines? How about my own personal experience as a college graduate, MT course certified, and employed by a national transcription company? Yes, Alan tried to play his scam on me by telling me I needed his $397 package to work for him for free. I TEACH MTs at a legitimate UNIVERSITY. So THAT is how I know it's a SCAM. Would you like to see the emails he sent me? You'd better get out now before you get charged with fraud, too.
Your hubby "wouldn't let you" spend money? That explains a lot. Con artists like women who have been belittled and don't stand up for themselves. They're easy targets because they're so obedient and gullible. Honey, no man tells me what to do. Wake up and smell the coffee. This many people CANNOT possibly be wrong. It will come back to bite you in the backside one day. By the way, how much do you make working there? I make $35 an hour teaching MTs typing, transcription and terminology.
Oh, it's CHIEFS, not CHEEFS.

No complaints here
I went through CS and it was very comprehensive. I have had no problem getting a job, and all employers I talk to love CS grads and also speak highly of Andrews and M-Tec also. I think some of the negativity and bad speak comes from the fact that it is a self-paced course and takes discipline. There are some who just rush though it to get working, and do not take the time to really learn. Then when they get out in the working world, they do not have enough knowledge to succeed and end up giving CS a bad name. It is always easy to find the negatives about anything on here as there are some people who will bash any school, company etc and you will find those negative people anywhere you go. Seriously though, CS was great for me...I found work, they have great support and your fellow CS students on the forum are amazing with helping you out! I have no complaints!
Advice to the ignorant
Essentially, I am interested in transcription because I can type fast and it seems like a reliable industry to get employment in.
I would appreciate any advice regarding the ins and outs of the transcription industry.
Namely: Is it stressful and demanding?
Are you constantly typing at a high rate of speed all day long?
Is there secretarial work usually involved?
Basically, what is the worst part? And how hard do you find it to gain consistent employment?
Thanks for the time taken to read this and I greatly, greatly appreciate any helpful comments.

YES! 37 complaints against the company in 36 months.
THAT is why they changed the name and the website address.
That is an ignorant statment...I am living proof!! -sm
It must ruffle your feathers to think someone could teach themselves your trade, but unfortunately I have to say you are WAY off base there...speaking as a nurse and self-taught MT with impeccable work, thank you very much.
