When I worked there they had a requirement of 40,000 edited lines (VR) or 20,000 regular lines (standard) a month. Before reaching that goal, I had to be an IC for them. They don't prefer one way or another that I know of; it's up to you after reaching the line requirement if you want to stay IC or go employee.
