I was actually told by several recruiters

Andrews graduates consistently produce better work than that of the other companies. My own research shows M-Tec and Career Step to be very good, but I think Andrews would be your best bet. I actually didn't train with either of them, but I had already started with a different program before finding any of this out. I was fortunate to get a job without training any of the top 3.. and I have to think I would have found work sooner had I done so. Good luck.

Has anyone ever heard of MT Recruiters? Feedback would be appreciated, thanks
Ever heard of them?  I am finding it very hard to get a job without at least a year of experience.  I am also looking for work in local medical facilities....let's face it....I am looking EVERYWHERE.  I may have to flip burgers until I get hired...I have a mortgage payment coming up...I'm just keeping my fingers crossed at this point...and I am not giving up!
HELP someone, I applied online to MedQuist, MedScribe and MT Recruiters..what do you know about

I just finished school this summer and passed all my requirements for MT...I applied to these online companies and wasn't real sure if they were reputable.  I've heard from previous students about companies that don't pay on time and are a little shady.  How can I know if I apply to online MT work at home companies if they are OK?  Better Business Bureau?

I was going to post my resume on Monster.com.  Can anyone tell me if that would be a good decision?

I would appreciate any and all feedback.

she told me...

to check all my resources first! I am sorry that I started something but DAMN I didn't know that yall would jump down my throat about a silly question.

I sure hope that I don't grow up to be like Gayle, god help me!!

They told me that I did.....sm
"very good" on the testing, and I work as a full-time employee. This will DEFINITELY be the company that I retire with. They are very helpful, flexible (as long as you do your minimum lines and work your scheduled hours), and my team leaders are so great that they basically make me WANT to work hard for them. They have great benefits and are just a very well rounded company, and I am glad I found them. This is my second MT position (my first was for a year as an IC), and I plan to retire with Medware. Good luck! HTH.
Well, I told them 10 P to 6 A...
because I'm 3rd shift, but I didn't work that all the time. I would get my sleeping pattern all mixed up and work days or afternoons a lot. They can't *tell* you when to work since you're not their employee but you can't go too crazy and expect to keep the job, either. You could give them an outline on a weekly or monthly basis, I'd think, just to give them an idea of coverage. A lot of companies do try to work with you.
From what I have been told and also have heard
you should type what you hear, since you cannot possibly know what templates they are using. I have also found that the tests that I am able to download onto my system and then work on them I can hear better. The MTTest site tends to really be distorted in sound quality. Also info given to me by a great and wise MT was to not plug in your headphones to the speakers. Make sure you are plugging them directly into your computer tower. I was missing a lot of the little words from not doing this.

I am still job searching as well. Just remember the job market is in poor shape all the way around. My aunt just recently had to fill out a 10 page application for substitute secretarial/lunch lady position in her school district. They said it would take at least 2 weeks before they would be able to tell her if they will allow her to work for the district or not.

Better times will come.

I posted it AFTER she told another poster to (sm)
kiss her, well, you know. That has been removed now though.
Have experience, but was told I needed a line for the Lanier station they let you use. nm

A woman told me this week her community college "certified" her as an MT.
I think the problem is the people who are teaching those courses don't know the difference. It isn't really a lie. They just don't know better. Of course they also shouldn't be teaching a subject they know little or nothing about, but that's for another thread, another time.
